so i got my copy exactly 22.5 hours ago, got home started installing and it is at 93% after leaving my xbox on all night, and i launched M:CC to see what the progress was inside HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH 24% halo 2 0% halo 3 and only 38% -Yoinking!- % on MP what the actual -Yoink-!!! all my friends are on, all started after me. i have top 1% internet in australia and start first, and this is what happens. HOW ABOUT U -Yoinking!- MAKE A POST ABOUT THIS 343.
Mine was installed within 30 mins. I think you may have an issue.
Not just him, same problem here. downloading for 3 hours now and im only at 11%
this is driving me crazy, i mean there is a limit to what server stress does to install times… this is excessive

What’s your internet speed? Because your situation sounds pretty normal.
Are you installing it or downloading it? Disc or digital? Because if it’s digital some issue might have to do with the servers being worked on.
I got my copy at midnight, popped in the disc around 12:30AM and campaigns were all about ready in an hour… Everything was fully installed by 3:30AM.
It’s worth mentioning that my Xbox is hard wired to my router with 50MBPS Internet speed, so perhaps it’s your internet connection that isn’t up to snuff.
I had it all installed in a little under two hours. Disc, with hardwired internet 40 MBps. Might be time to just scrub it and try a install from scratch.
Started installing from disc and then downloading update of 15GB. Started 5 hours ago 19.00 hrs UK time. Halo 1,3 and 4 installed Halo 2 seems to be stuck at 94.5% but the last box is on 82% which I think is multiplayer. When I checked the Queue in “My games and apps” the total install so far was 96% complete.Hope to be done by midnight.Download update via Ethernet cable.<div> I have a download speed of 30mbs.

You guys aren’t missing much - MP is broken as always with a new release. You’d think ‘the cloud’ was going to correct this issue if you heard MS talking in the runup to the Xbox One’s release.
20 minutes waiting for a game which starts 4v3. The big team lobby doesn’t seem to allow for maximum 8v8 - even though the playlist states this.
It is like playing halo in the old days. I’m waiting for someone to standby me.
Once the MP is fixed, it’ll be great fun. The matches I’ve managed to play so far have been very good.
I’m stuck too. Internet speeds not an issue, I’ve got a docsis 3.0 modem, gigabit ethernet ports on the router and I’m hardlined. I have 60mb/s download speeds. Its been stuck at 71% for multiplayer for over hour hours now.
Mine got stuck at one point as well the solution was to hold the power button on the console till it shuts off give it a second and then turn it back on. When I did that the installation started working again and started back where it left off.
Its been 7hrs for me and I’m now at 82%. My internet is working fine on all my other devices. In fact I even downloaded the free game on 360 earlier today with no problems
If I am installing from a disk, I go offline before the install. It’s under Settings -> Networking, I believe. I finished the install from the disk and then I go back online to get the patch. That has helped me with install times and patching issues.
Xbox Support , and your network settings will tell you a blanket statement about issues with LIVE. There’s been problems with downloads, and multiplayer across games for a week+ now. Don’t blame the game, blame the providers.
Also not every bank of ‘Azure’ servers are OWNED and OPERATED by MS. Can’t always point a finger at them either. I expect 343 went with MS’ servers directly, and not a 3rd party server bank.
Give it time though. Don’t over react 
People tend to have no patience for something truly great!
EDIT Also, could be your ISP, or your router/portforwarding/NAT settings.
I had no issue downloading monday with the 60gig digital download. 2.50mb/s to 3.10mb/s. Roughly 10gigs+ an hour. Which isn’t slow, considering there aren’t a plethora of servers out there which allow a faster download rate than 3.50mb/s. Even if you have 50-60mbps you’ll likely never see over 4-6mb/s, although torrents and peer-to-peer is another monster.
mine finally finished, played a few customs matches with not many issues and actually got a match in team slayer ( australia)
