Season 2 for MCC will feature user skins in the game, with more likely to come. I was thinking how a similar system may apply in Infinite. More specifically in forge and customs. It would be nice that you could select the skin for a vehicle for a forge and be able to turn off user skins in the gametype. So you can have say covenant vs heretics without one having the advantage (like in halo 5 where the sword vehicles had more armour). Or even it could be to decrease the sheer number of vehicles in the menu. It’d also be nice if a host could disable them for custom, say for clan battles, 1v1s, or generally for more competitive. They could provide a distraction. Its also why i believe they should be disabled in certain competitive modes, enabled in social. Thoughts?
Hopefully they’ll be a feature like this one listed on Gamespot’s CE article.
“Not everyone will want to have skins, or want to see them. With that in mind, 343 created a new option from the Gameplay tab that allows you to opt out of seeing the new skins. The “New Skins” setting is toggled on by default, but you can disable it so you can only see the original art for Halo: CE.”
This would be a perfect middle ground for me.
