Apparently, no one here has played CoD, but are comparing Halo 4 to it. I am not going to list the differences, so I ask of you: Go and forget about Halo for a few hours. Play CoD for a little bit. Compare them after.
I’ve played Cod, and Halo. They are nothing alike. But I want to stop there because this thread is going to become a flame/spam war.

Ive played Halo 1-4 and CoD BR1-BO. The ops argument is flawed and irrelevant.
cod started sucking badly after mw2, but still I preferred halo over it back then
I think you’re misconstruing what’s been said. Nobody said Halo is CoD, they said it IMITATED CoD. I don’t really feel like listing all of them AGAIN, but there are numerous elements that have been added in that were popularized by the Call of Duty franchise and if you can’t see that then you are completely blind. The only discussion that remains is whether or not the addition of said elements (into a game it really doesn’t belong in) is a good thing. That is a matter of opinion. I think it sucks
