Exile and Complex. I just got done playing Exile a whopping six times in a row. So I thought I’d mix it up and play some objective games, CTF on complex twice in a row. then SWAT on complex, then a one game break on Haven then RIGHT BACK TO COMPLEX. Beside the fact that CTF on complex is broken as one team has to hike the flag through the open field for 20 yards while the other can get it two thirds of the way across the map while staying in buildings under cover.
I digress, what happened to the H3 system where you’re given a random map and you can veto ONCE but then have to play the replacement. YOU GET WHAT YOU GET. No people love Exile, all day everyday.
Would it be that hard to put in a bit of code that excludes the previous map from the next voting rotation?? Really, 343 you’d only have to play the game an hour to realize your issue, or would playing Halo be getting too close to your community?
Why bother with veto at all? Just have the maps in rotation and if you don’t like the map it says the game will be played on you get a chance to leave. Then 30 seconds before the match starts you’re all locked in. Job done.
leaving it to the vote means we paid £ for a multiplayer game with 2 maps and 3 periodically when Ragnarock is up for vote.
If this insistence on consistently voting for 2 maps isn’t changed I for one will be heading back to GOW3.
I really hate that…
I actually LIKE maps like Exile…Ragnarok…and yes, even Complex, I like Complex. I’ll start running…
But I HATE repetitive feeling gameplay.
I may like certain maps more, but it’s more fun when you have a variety.
I think it should be like H3 was, where it shows you ONE map, and the only choice you have is if you want to play THAT map.
If you don’t…well then fine, you’ll play THIS one, no more questions.
Dominion is plagued with Exile. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve played on that map. Hopefully that will be rectified in the near future, or my patience will expire.
veto system should replace the vote system they have now

One of the pillars of game developing is the fact that you must give the player what HE REALLY NEEDS, instead of what he think he wants.
Thats why there was a Sangheili campaign in Halo 2, or the DMR introduction in Reach, or a Theathre, or the Forge.
