I though forums were a place to complain and say hey you guys broke this game, and having the freedom to do such a thing because the internet is a print medium and therefore my freedom of speech is valid, but not here lol you get flagged for nothing at all. geezzzz fix your game lol already the health packs are so broken you pick one up and then you die from a head shot with half shields, nice job guys!!! way to break everything
Yeah, I’m not a big fan of bleedthrough either.
Apparently you make pointless threads

Reach was broken in the first place. Lets forget it ever existed.
I can honestly say that the bleed through doesn’t bother me. It just brings Halo 3 mechanics into Halo REACH which I can appreciate.
The forums are not a place to complain; that is what your mom, friends, diary, and therapist are for. The forums are a place where you can express your concerns, likes and dislikes backed with supporting evidence and possible alternatives.
Welcome to WayPoint! (umad, Plunder? :P)
> the health packs are so broken you pick one up and then you die from a head shot with half shields
Lol. this is absolutely false. What you may be exaggerating is how now, after picking up a health pack as long as you have <25% shields, you will die from a single headshot, while in the past as long as you had 1% shields it would take two (1 to drop that 1% of shields and 1 your health). And even if what you’re saying were true, how much game time do you spend picking up heath packs? I don’t see that as “completely screwing up the game”.
y does reach feel so team oriented? (forced) individual skill feels lessened)
> y does reach feel so team oriented? (forced) individual skill feels lessened)
Play FFA?

Because with AA’s and Bloom a players individual abilities are drastically reduced due to slow kill times, slow shooting speed (the longer you have to line up each shot the better chance you will hit your opponent), and ease of opponents surviving bad mistakes (ie pushing by themselves). Now, the only way to insure a kill, often times, is to have 2 players attacking a player at the same time. That’s why
Bleedthrough sucks! It’s funny how you can die instantly from a single melee punch after picking up a health pack. Great TU you have there 343i, -Yoinking!- top notch.
I knew this game was unplayable the moment I brought the game. All of this -Yoink- can be sorted out just by decreasing the melee power to 3 hits. Why the -Yoink- does it do the same amount of damage as a Sniper bullet, explain that one?

Read this please. You are very wrong.
Wanted to throw out my 2 cents seeing as though everyone else is.
I like bleed through. If you are outnumbered then you should lose (assuming weapons and players are of similar skill levels. Halo is a team game, thats why they call these modes TEAM SLAYER. Play FFA if you want to lone wolf it or focus on power weapons and make yourself that much more effective.
Reach is an awesome game. Every Halo has gotten better than the last and Reach is no exception. If you dont like the TU then vote otherwise. I personally like the TU very much as 1% shield should not absorb damage. Bleedthrough has been the single best change made to this game so far.
The TU messed the game up - and now that it’s pretty much mandatory to play slayer, i’ve moved on to other games.

The game was mess up to begin with at least 343 has tried to fix it but the game is just a mess.
How is making it playing like every other halo game messed up? You are essentially saying every halo game before reach was messed up, which is completely false.
> How is making it playing like every other halo game messed up? You are essentially saying every halo game before reach was messed up, which is complete false.
The issue is that it was designed in mind with the features and they have been removed or reduced, causing an imbalance in the game, in addition to a few glitches involving the bleed through. Not to mention that many of us have been playing and enjoying Halo Reach for a year while everyone else on the forums complained about it.
Reach is it’s own game and it’s been altered to fit some of the mechanics of the last halo games.

Funny considering the mutilated state Halo: Reach finds itself in is due to a lot of -Yoink!-ing and complaining. Not exclusively, though.

Just because most people don’t follow it doesn’t mean that’s not what it’s for.
Do you understand the difference between criticism and constructive criticism?
The forums are here for you to provide feedback with what you think is flawed or wrong and to provide solid reputable examples of why you think so (or to just say this stuff rocks, I don’t think your posts will be tampered with then). Nobody wants to hear “This game sucks, waaaahhh!!!” That doesn’t tell us anything.
Personally, I like the changes. Finally it feels like I’m winning my DMR battles because I aimed better and not because of the randomness of 100% bloom.

Actually, it may be the way you said it, I rip on 343 for there mistakes all the time, but if you say 343 instead of mods, and you be careful of your language you can get away with it by there guidelines. But yeah, they are more likely to try and take down your posts when you oppose them. The way I see it, if you have a point and don’t just say -Yoink- 343, you can get away with it. Besides if they tried anything i’d report them to microsoft, remember 343 have bosses too. I already reported them when the waypoint servers went down for a week, and big surprise 12 hours later it finally gets maintainance.
