Cartographers Gift comes out. The next day: “Overgrowth is the Terrible!”, Later that day, “Battle of Noctus is Worst Warzone Map”
Infinities Armory comes out. The same day: “Riptide is the Worst Map in Halo 5!”
Hammer Storm comes out: “Remove Torque from Arena”
The release new BTB maps: “All new BTB maps are terrible!”
And now Ghost of Meridian come out and I already saw some post: “Tyrant is the Worst Map in Halo History!”
Jesus, does ever single map seriously suck that bad. I love overgrowth and Riptide. Not so much Torque and i haven’t played Tyrant, but come on guys. These maps improve the lack luster of content the game started with and all I hear is complaints.

The bolded is true though. Screw Overgrowth, Notcus and the vanilla BTB maps.
And this update is fairly lack-luster. Only two maps, no new modes and a average REQ increase (outside of the hannibal mantis theres nothing that stands out. They’re giving us a reskin of the MK V. Boring. Give us Halo 4-5 Chief’s armor already!)
Hey, Overgrowth and Riptide are pretty bad. I actually enjoy Torque, but to each there own. Some people just like to find things to complain about. I’m personally really looking forward to Tyrant.

except not all btb maps are terrible, heck these are all subjective, I think the OP is just mad that people are playing their opinions off as fact like you just did.
Every map takes some time to get used to, so some people hate them when they first come out. I used to hate torque, but now I love it! (except on swat. so much camping. shudder
People like to cry and whine around these days. Crybabies.

Not really, it just bothers me that every new than in Halo has to terrible in the community’s minds.
Overgrowth for me was ok, I don’t like riptide personally, warzone maps in general are meh, torque is okay on other game modes, but swat on torque is a herpagonasyphilaids combined with swats spawns that still aren’t fixed. tyrant seems ok but a lot of maps in this game are swiss cheese maps.
I know it’s really annoying. I like to play the map multiple times and get used to it before I judge whether I like it or not. Others will just play it once, probably lose by a big amount, then say that it’s the worst map ever.
The only new BTB maps I’ve seen get flack are Fracture and the updated Deadlock from the guy who literally got seizures from playing it (sorry to hear about that by the way dude). Otherwise the updated Deadlock and Guillotine, as well as the new maps for BTB and Grifball, were well-received by many.
Same goes for Torque. It was met with mixed reviews but, the recent changes to the map have really improved it.
As for Tyrant, I have not seen a single hate thread on here. And if you are referring to the thread made by @MULLERTJE please actually read the thread.
I’ll give you Overgrowth and Riptide, though I enjoy Riptide quite a bit.
