The dang game is installed and running in the background. I’m pretty sure I already bought it… What else does the app want me to do? Anyone else have this issue?
I have the same problem. I launch Nightfall directly from the game and it still doesn’t recognize that I own Halo.

Hey all, bought MCC day one. Installed it, watched the first episode of halo nightfall on the waypoint app, and when I came back to watch episode 2 the play option for both episodes no longer exists, only the ‘buy halo’ and details options are available. I thought this was strange as I was able to watch the first episode before. I would also like to note that my roommates works but not on my xbox one.
With the physical disk I had to uninstall the Halo Channel and then install the Halo Channel using the code that was included with the Master Chief Collection.

Yes, please ensure that you have used the 5x5 code included with the physical copy of MCC to unlock Nightfall access.
Haven’t had a problem when i launch Halo Channel through it’s app, not in game
