Apology of sorts

I believe I owe 343 an apology, for years I criticized halo 5 for the horrible story, lack of content at launch, the halo MCC disaster. But all that aside the games are really good now and I really enjoy playing it. Halo 5 multiplayer is really fun and while I still think the campaign from a story perspective is garbage the multiplayer and gameplay has come a long way and I hope 343 learned from all the criticisms and take everything good and put it into Halo infinite. I hope all the content is their, I hope the campaign is epic and bring tears to my eyes the way halo 3 did and I hope the multiplayer is packed filled with content AT LAUNCH. Lastly I hope the game is consumer friendly and doesn’t try to milk me for all my money. I don’t want Halo to fail, I love this universe and I want to enjoy and treasure the next Halo game that come’s out.

I don’t think any of us want Halo to fail. Even with all our criticisms it comes from a shared place of passion and love for this game, and I think that’s important to remember.

343i seems to start off weak with some aspects, and then grow into a good place with feedback. And it shows as you can see. I think Halo Infinite will start in a good place with all the flights and feedback they are asking for prior to release. At least I hope it does.

How exactly did they try to milk you for all of your money? By giving all map packs for free, or by letting you unlock items with req points?

I’m taking about I hope they don’t do what EA did when they make a new Halo.

343 striped the game to bare bones and released content as “Free DLC”. Forge shouldn’t have been DLC. Infection shouldn’t have been DLC. Firefight shouldn’t have been DLC. Assault and Oddball shouldn’t have been DLC.

I think 343 needs to definitely avoid this strategy for Halo Infinite. I’ll pay for the DLC as long as the base game isn’t bland.

I believe all maps and game modes should be free, the player base should not be divided into have’s and have not’s. games are more expensive to make so why not just raise the price from 59.99$ to 75.00$ that way no need for microtransactions or season passes.
