Disregarding general balance quips people have with Warzone, Red team has way too much of an advantage on this map.
Reasons
Given the side they spawn on, they have way better access to the spire. There are 2 or 3 rocks you can run up coming from the side Red spawns on.
Easier access to 150 point bosses. The Tank Master and Phaeton ship spawn relatively in the middle of the map. However, the Red Team has a straight bee line to where these bosses spawn, while the blue team has to pass one of the control points. If the Red Team has this point, you have to go through a choke point just to fight the bosses. Even if they aren’t defending this point heavily, anyone spawning to go after the 150 pointers from here will end up behind you.
Even with the easy access to the spire, the Red side for some reason has an extra man cannon that isn’t on the base. Maybe the Blue side has one that I haven’t found, but it just makes it even easier for Red to get up the Spire
Even if Blue does own it, assuming the teams have their respective Armories, Blue doesn’t have as good a sightline as the rock ramps block a good portion of the view.
Discuss? I personally have rarely if ever lost here as Red and rarely if ever won as Blue, but I’m just now starting to keep track.
Haha but its asymmetric, just like everyone wanted!
Im being sarcastic, these maps are plastic fruits (meaning it looks good but you wouldnt dare eat it for fear of instantaneous cancer) and have no sense of balance (recurve) or good spawns.
Interesting observations. I do recall one armory having a man cannon while the other lacks one, but I’m not positive that the map is quite as skewed as you say. I’ll try to look into it more myself.
Apex is hella fun! Yeah red side is better for the start… Just rush that armory with 8 players at the start! There you go and the blue side in my opinion has better positioning to take down taskmaster rock and the phaeton
But yeah I understand what you guys are saying

Blue armory is closer to the bosses, but Red Spawn is better off than Blue Spawn for attacking the bosses with vehicles.
I feel like this is the case on escape from arc as they have a lot more cover a window easily accessed from their armoury as well I love the map but I am just sick of being disadvantaged and slaughter just because of the random team I get put in.
Blue team has easy access to two of the main bosses. Red team has that bloody cave that blues like to try to sneak through. Blue team has the easy access to the spire through the cave behind it. Blue base is more beneficial to hold until the phaeton is destroyed.

I have always thought blue team had an advantage on that one. The angles of the rocks and the placement puts the blue side slightly closer to the red side when climbing in the rocks, plus a descent coverage from on coming spartans. You can catch a lot running to the garage in close range. Being able to sneak to the warden on that side provides better coverage.

Red ha easier access to the garage’s second level. Is there anyway to see how what percentage of matches red and blue wins? That should settle assuming all things are randomized.

True, a direct route from their base where blue had to go around or through the downstairs. Should do a comparison on all maps and see what the percentage is on them.
