Tomorow is the big day! I haven’t read too much about the game to keep the surprise on. I was wondering if it is true that there will be no 4 players split-screen? (Wtf?) Is there anything to do before the release of the game? Free promo code for exclusive content? I played the beta, will I receive a unique beta item? Will there be a double EXP promo like Halo 4? (Mountain Dew & Doritos) How much GB does the game weight? Is there an official app on iOS for Halo 5, 343 Industries or Halo Waypoint? If you think I forgot an important question, feel free to tell it! I hate it when I miss something especially when it come to permanently missable goodies xD

There is no split screen co-op or multiplayer. The game is 46GB and with the day 1 patch it comes to 54.8 so if you have downloaded digitally your all set but if your going to buy the disc you will have a 9gb download before you can play. Things toi do before the game you can customize your Spartan and purchase and open req packs in halo waypoint or create or join a Spartan company

- There’s no splitscreen at all
- You can do whatever you want before it’s released. Personally I’ll be playing through the Halo 4 campaign to get the story nice and fresh in my head for the Halo 5 campaign play through at 11pm tonight
- There’s a mega-thread somewhere around here with all the promo stuff going on, some of which gives you free in game items.
- You get an emblem for playing the beta. The few players that got Pro spartan ranks get a special emblem.
- I think Monster and Hot pockets are the food based promotions this time around
- The game’s file size is ~54.8GB
- There is an official application for the Halo series on the iOS (android and windows phone) called The Halo Channel, and it just got updated for Halo 5.

Not even 2 players split-screen??? If so I cancel my pre-order and quit my childhood. I am about to sell all my Xbox stuff, Halo was the only thing holding me to Xbox.

We live in an age where online play dominates and most people play online coop/multiplayer.
Split screen was cut to create bigger environments and maps for the campaign.
I couldn’t care less for splitscreen. They said it’s for the sake of fps, which is a good reason to exclude it.
It is unfortunate; I have fond memories of eight people playing in a living room with two TVs and two xboxes set up. Made multiplayer a lot of fun.

The only thing that had you interested in Halo (and xbox it seems)… was the ability to play with someone right next to you? The story, multiplayer and ability to play with up to 4 friends online in campaign or even more in multiplayer has absolutely no hold on you?
I am actually replaying all the Halo with my girlfriend because she wanted to be up to date with the game/story and we will not be able to play Halo 5 together… What if someone has a brother? They will take turn playing instead of having fun together? They will need 2 Xbox Live account, 2 Console and 2 Halo 5 games. 4 Co-op player online? I have my own life, my friend have their own life too. Pretty sad to spend a free night alone in our livingroom talking on microphone… Nothing better to fall asleep. This is like watching a sport match alone or with Skype around… This is lame, where is the real big fun!? With chips & soft drink, beers & wings? I can’t stay up until 4 in the morning without all the excitement you get by playing with someone! This is Halo guys, not Destiny! What about fps? Since when Halo had bad frame? Halo to Xbox is Super Smash to WiiU. It better be F****** good to excuse the lack of split-screen! I hope you guys realize that instead of inovate, they are just mixing with already existing popular games… Good for their $$$ right now, not good for us, not good for the franchise. Halo is slowly dying, it need something special, something unique to pierce through the market. Anyways, where is that mega-thread with all those promo stuffs!?
