Supposedly there is a mega construx model with a brute equipped with the supposed Spartan Locke helmet, I just tell you that it is a rumor, it is not official. But the game should focus better on Master Chief.

There is in fact a toy with Locke’s helmet attached.
It’s also been confirmed Infinite will be focused on Master Chief & not really anyone else.
As for OP’s initial question. I wouldn’t mind Locke being a character within the game at all. I just don’t really want to play as him. At least not in the main campaign. If there’s a DLC later down the line I wouldn’t mind having a few missions as him or something similar.

I liked Locke, I wouldn’t mind him returning in some capacity.
I would love to see Locke pop up in some manor again - he has a very interesting history that’s worth exploring more 
I would really love to see Locke again. I’m not sure what I would want his roll to be in Infinite but I definitely don’t want him to disappear.
Locke is nice and all but I prefer the man, the myth, the legend: Buck.
I want to see Blue team. The fact that they have no properly told Blue Team’s story feels like such a wasted opportunity. They have great chemistry and character in the books.
Hoping so. I’ll be annoyed if they pull a Jul 'Mdama and just ditch the entire character after introducing them. Even if he’s just a side character who makes a couple appearances, I’d be happy.

I hear you on this, but I’d be okay with them not being in the main campaign. I’d much rather they have a campaign DLC come out down the line that’s a story focused on blue team where we can dive deeper with them as characters.
Personally, with Halo Wars 3 most likely not happening, I’d love to see a DLC where Blue Team is responsible for rescuing Spirit of Fire from the Ark and seeing them reunite with Jerome and Red team.

I hate Locke. I hope he’s in Infinite just so I can watch him get his butt kicked properly, die a coward’s death, be shredded apart and eaten by brutes, defacated out, and forever forgotten.
I’d be happy to never see Locke again. The Halo 5 campaign was overall a failure and Locke was part of that. Halo Infinite would be better off staying away from some of the things Halo 5 brought to the table but that’s just my opinion.
I don’t think our opinions really matter since Elites aren’t in the game and every Elite thread is locked and the posters redirected to a page that has 900+ pages of posts.

I’d rather 343i improve what didn’t work rather than pretend it just didn’t happen. Locke himself isn’t an issue; the writing was. Just about every character was uninteresting in Halo 5. If we go with this logic, we better chuck Chief, Blue team, and Buck in the dumpster as well.
All Chief and mostly nobody else. I quite like the Mexican chap though
I don’t like Locke, he was one of the reason why Halo 5 don’t work, I don’t think he will reapear
I guess give other characters their own games. I feel halo 5 did what halo 2 did with switching characters but with a lot more Locke than chief. They should have made Locke bigger on the cover or put chief in the background or under locks foot… something to show that the game’s not an even play of the characters… yap yap is missing from the cover by the way… and he needs his own game and return to infinite! Just kidding. I think yap yap was a cool enemy they created, i’ll be surprised if I see him in infinite.
I can almost guarantee he’ll be in the game to so.e degree. I highly doubt 343 will drop him after his prominence in halo 5. I just hope he gets more character development
