I know that you need to pass all 4 halos on legendary to get helioskrill but has anyone like maybe gotten lucky and unlocked helioskrill through a gold req pack…? LMK.
You definitely CAN unlock it through REQ packs. I’ve still only seen the helmet three or four times though.
Yes, you can, but it won’t be common, I unlocked the achievement after giving up on finding it in req packs.

so you beat all the previous 4 halos on legendary then how long did that take you? and was it really hard?

Do it co-op, halo 3 and 4 average mission time will be 20-40 minutes,
Halo 2 average time was 30-50 minutes, sometimes even an hour or more.
Halo ce was pretty easy sometimes, a few missions took an hour or more.
Halo 2 co-op will restart checkpoint when one person dies, as if Iron skull were on, so halo 2 was the hardest.

I remember as a kid (young teenager) being floored by how much easier Halo: CE was on Legendary after playing Halo 2 on Legendary.
I got it in a req pack. I prefer Helljumper though. I don’t prefer wearing a boat for a head.
I got mine through the achievement.
I got Master Chiefs helm and a scarred variant. But didnt get them outta packs.

umm pretty positive you cant get this through req pack. Ive unlocked everything literally and one of the few things im missing is that armour set and when I go to open new req packs I dont get any permanents anymore so I im pretty sure you cant get it through packs.
