Anyone think that we need another earnable set of armor in the game other than Achilles. What I mean is a set of armor that requires some goal to be achieved to be earned. Such armor would have to not be obtainable through the req system and would only be earned by completing this goal. Sort of like Helioskrill once was, before it was put in the req system for some reason. Achilles is earnable by getting a crap-ton of kills, but that leads to farming in warzone, which makes it less meaningful to actually earn it, and Helioskrill obviously lacks meaning now that it can just be obtained the usual way (req system). Such an armor could be earned by achieving some truly impressive goal, and no other way.
Once enough groups earn Achilles, 343 will add another one to support the use of the Spartan Companies
I could take it or leave it. I rarely notice what armor anyone is wearing anyway. It all looks like Red vs. Blue to me.
I wouldn’t mind another one. We’re still working on Achilles, but it’s always more rewarding to earn one than to buy a REQ pack.
I kinda wish there would be one based on non-WZA core destruction victories. Or if there was an armor from completing campaign solo Legendary.

Nah, I actually agree with the reasoning behind it being put in to the system, I just don’t like the actual fact that it is. I agree that it sort of was unfair to players who were trying to complete the game 100 percent in terms of unlockable content.
Still, though, it would be nice to have another set that actually did require you to do something other than grind to unlock it.
Here’s an idea that would be beneficial for multiple reasons. Perhaps there could be an extremely rare armor set that could only be unlocked by finishing the halo 5 campaign on LASO and also completing all of the achievements, and perhaps something else (preferably something extremely difficult). Such an armor would be beneficial for the following reasons:
- Much like Achilles does, such a hard to obtain armor would increase the games lifespan and keep people playing in order to unlock it
- Assuming such an armor would require the campaign be completed in some way or another, it would provide another reason for players play halo 5s questionable campaign
- Such an armor would (hopefully) ease the issue that is warzone farming just a little bit, assuming certain players wanted this new armor more
- such an armor would be appreciated by most fans that want another set of armor that can actually be earned
If there is to be another earnable armor, do NOT make it a Spartan Company deal. It’s gone too far with all those nuggets Spawn camping and ruining matches.
If it was through personal effort, heck commendations then i wouldn’t mind.

The mcc has no campaign bugs anymore and hasn’t for a while, so that’s an irrelevant argument and you try playing ce and h2 on solo no skulls since its “just a campaign” getting it through req’s requires no skill or effort, just time, the ledgendary campaigns require considerable effort and can be very difficult
Edit: looking at your stats you tried, started with ce, got stuck on truth and rec and gave up, so your in no position to say it’s “easy” to complete.

No campaign bugs anymore hmm? So certain achievements unlocking “sometimes” is bug free? Or getting randomly booted here and there? Or even severe lagging in co-op AND single player? I still play mcc, I mainly do it for the achievements at this point mainly cuz I’m an achievement hunter.
As as for the difficulty, I disagree but each person handles things different and their own ability on a challenge will differ, but in reality the A.I are still dumb on legendary and are nothing but higher damaging A.I. LASO would be a real challenge as it restricts you, legendary not so much.
They should make Master Chiefs current armor earnable once a player earns EVERY unlockable in their REQ collection (armor, emblems, certifications, etc)

vs the almost non existent earnable armors? achilles is just a matter of time(my company got it and i wasn’t going too far out of my usual play style to even get it), and helioskrill is so -Yoink!- easy!
thats the ONLY reason i even wear helio body and achilles helmet, you get no luck in them. its all based on “earning” them. (in quotes cuz i got helio without even realizing it was a thing)
