Well, just the ending of it. It started off REALLY awesome, but the ending where the Brute looked at the camera and said, “RUN, LITTLE DEMONS!” was kinda cheesy, mainly because he was looking at the camera. Well obviously there wasn’t literally a camera there but you get what I mean. I was kinda disappointed that a trailer that started off so awesome ended kinda cheesy. But, still an awesome teaser I have rewatched a lot.
I really liked the trailer. That brute looks badass, fending off all of those Spartans. My only critique of it is that it really didn’t give the impression of a RTS, but I don’t know how they would have done that as the game is very early in development lol. So all in all, it was fantastic.
nope. the game was already in development for two years now. ever since the first Halo 5 Tease.

was anyone watching E3 2013 or 2014??
Can’t deny it. Seemed too childish/soft for a Brute that just forced three Spartans to retreat.
I thought it was amazing. The fact alone that Halo Wars 2 is INDEED in production made me react similarly to how Harry Partridge reacted to Skyrim’s initial teaser trailer.

Source? I know Halo Wars 2 was teased at E3 2014 during the phantom dust trailer, but who stated it’s been in production for two years? Did someone from Gamescom say?
Still not as cheesy as 95% of the original Halo Wars.
At this point, I’d have settled for a cheese with engraved " Halo Wars 2" on it as an official teaser.
Or Halo Wars 2 written with cheese.
Sure, the trailer was a little cheesy, but it was overall good. Not sure how it could’ve been made less cheesy though.
If I were a brute powerful enough to make Spartans run for cover, I would probably tease them.
My opinion, this gives us the sense that the enemies in HW2 will be a force to be reckoned with.
I don’t see how the trailer was ‘cheesy’ or ‘childish’…
.
I like cheese.

I do too, that is why I liked the trailer.
I had the feeling that the brute wasn’t alone during that fight…i know they only show him, but at the end he says to anonymous others “hunt them down”. Gave me the feeling that red team was extremely outnumbered in that fight.

Halo is a little cheesy. But that’s ok. It gives it class.
They always do cheesy teasers since 343 took over. It’s okay though, has no baring on the game. Just leaves us wanting more. Like a cheap McDonalds order. Looking forward for the first vidoc.

> Cheese would be if it was 3 Spartan IIs fighting hundreds of enemies, then turns to the camera and says “Spartans never die, b*tch”. I’d say the brute mocking the title of ‘Demon’ was appropriate.
yeah I really don’t think it was cheesy

The end was just a little cheesy but the trailer is kind of scary especially when you realize that Red team a squad of three Spartan II’s that fought and killed an army of elites were all defeated some maybe killed by just one Brute!
