Anyone think REQ packs are terrible

I am lvl 45 still have zero certifications for any banshee, any wraith, Mantis, ghost ultra, among many others. Anyone else getting absolute crap from every pack they open?

Pros: Makes you feel like you’re opening a pack of trading cards and gets the excitement brewing, it’s like life is a box of chocolates.

Cons: If you want to work for something rare or specific, you can’t because it’s all random. Believe me the game knows what you want to unlock the most, so they take advantage of your favoritism by making sure it’s only about luck and it’ll take you months before you finally get it, and when the impatience starts to kill you (and it can do so very easily because of the amount of rewards that fuel your brain), you pull out your wallet and give them your hard earned cash instead of saving up with the in-game currency so you can get there faster. I am guilty of doing that here and with similar games and only once did I ever open something like a REQ pack, or something similar and unlock something that was on my list of what I wanted the most.

Now they make it worse by giving us bundles that cost up to $100, no thanks. Saving that amount of money to go into my savings for traveling.

Is there a way to see our certifications on this site?

As for the REQ system, I think it’s just ok. Not great but not bad. It is enough to keep me excited about opening packs after every few games and I was happy when I got the elusive DMR.

You’ll have everything around level 100.

There are few things I wish I could get sooner. But it doesn’t matter, it isn’t that big of a deal. I will eventually get it, don’t need it this second. It is kind of fun opening them and seeing what you will get.

I honestly hate the REQ system when it comes to armor, stances, & emblems. However, when it comes to weapons & vehicles I like it.

I find myself using the same three weapons. If I can unlock something useful maybe that will change. Things like a regular sniper are even hard to get for me, I guess time will tell.

What level pack do you open? I know most mantis are in gold.

I’ve been going at a steady pace so far. I sell most cards and I’m able to buy silvers every 2-3 games. I’d say I get a certification about every other silver pack. Still haven’t gotten a DMR but hoping that comes by level 30.

I would prefer a purchase system for weapon certifications, but I can live with the system as is.

I like them too, it gives you something to work toward by playing the game.

They say to open only bronze until you have about 20 to 25 certifications or until you start getting req points back. Then start on silver and keep opening silver until you start getting req points back and then work on gold… easiest way to unlock weapons and everything. I’m currently on ultra rares and legendarys

Yup. Sort of. I think.

Go to your profile in the top right of the site, click View Service Record in the mid right of the next screen, then towards the top where it says Halo 5 Guardians you’ll have a few options. Click the one that says Requisitions and you can look at all your cards. Under Power Weapons, Cards that you have the Certification for will have a blue ribbon in the top right when you click them. I’m about 90% sure that is what the blue ribbon means as things I know i have the Certification for have it and things I know I don’t have it for don’t.

It does mean you have the certification ^^^^^^^^

yeah just buy nothing but silver packs. Until u unlock everything rare and below. Then buy gold. Its a bit of a grind really. Personally don’t care for the requisition system much either though.

Eek. Won’t hold my breath but fingers are crossed. Need a ton of practice on the DMR because I’ve basically only shot it in the campaign!

Because I’m going with the bronze silvers and finally gold pack strategy I have a lot of really good reqs like onis, ultras, and all those things

Emblems, stances and all these skins are mot needed.

While i do dislike the req system I do think that it can be changed for the better. I think that the best way to fix the req system is to get armors as far away from it as possible, I want to earn my armors, that’s one reason why i think that Achilles armor is so valuable.
