Just like everyone, I am really looking forward to tonight. And yeah will probably be engaged in H4 for a week or so, but I’d still like to slowly chip away to Inheritor and eventually max out my commendations. It took me a long time to figure out the nuances of multiplayer, while still not great, I’m reasonably competent.
But there’s more than one thread on the complete abandonment of Reach, so I was wondering, is anyone still planning sticking with the game even in a casual sense?
I most definitely will. In my opinion Reach was the perfect swan song for Bungie. I plan on returning to it periodically as I do with all of the Halo games. They are honestly the only video games I really get sucked into.
I’m a forerunner, so I only have one rank standing between me and Inheritor!
My game list is slight larger (Dead Space and the Batman Arkham series, Aliens:Colonial Marines is on the hope list), but I hear you. There is something about Halo, the whole universe that completely has my attention.
I’m actually finding Halo 4 to be underwhelming. So I might actualy be spending more time in Reach.
The lack of a falcon in Halo 4 is upsetting but I still doubt that the falcon will be enough to draw me back to reach.

OT: I will still be on Reach until Christmas, since I won’t have Halo 4 yet. I won’t play Reach much anymore after that though since I have been an inheritor since October 2011. I haven’t had that much of a reason to play the game since January.
Ill be back to visit.
Not that much, but maybe I’ll play some occasional Invasion and Classic.
Of course… Not that much, obviously, but I’ll miss firefight and living dead and will come back to it now and then. And eventually I want to get to reclaimer.
Sadly it will end up like anniversary. Mostly really young players that can’t afford H4 will stay. Average skill is going to drop so fast. Sorry if I sound excited over the prospect of easy pickings.

It’s the same cR gap as forerunner, and that’s killing me right now. Hopefully 343 will add massive challenge payouts after the Halo 4 hype dies down. Good job on making Inheritor! It’s a -Yoink- ton of dedication.

Since im getting halo 4 tomorrow after school this will probably my last night on reach. I can just tell reach wont be nearly as good as halo 4.
Yes since I play as a Sangheili I will play Reach and Halo 3 I have no choice but to since Elites aren’t in Halo 4 as a playable species.
oh god no. Good Riddance to this game.
I will get Halo 4 when it ships to me, like in a week, but i won’t play reach wich so low population.
If Halo 4 is as bad as I hear it is. No Firefight. Spartan Ops for Gold only. Then count me as a permanent Reach fan. To heck with Halo 4.
I won’t be returning. Halo: Reach has not given me any form of personally enjoyment after the last playlist update.

It was. It was a perfect game in my eyes while Halo 4 has problems I don’t like.
If some Halo 4’s really dumb fails aren’t fixed, I’m totally sticking to Reach.
Soundscore was great (Lone wolf gives me the chills even today), which isn’t happening for H4 at all.
It has the best multiplayer so far, and the story telling was very good.
