I completely understand the purpose of the Kraken in the campaign (although it is hideously ugly), but does anyone here miss the scarab? Sure it was very annoying but they were fun to mess about with and then kill in the Halo 3 and 3: ODST campaigns…

The Scarab has appeared in as many games as the Halo rings themselves. I would say that it’s pretty darn iconic.
We are also lacking drones, brutes, sentinels and the flood. We’ve also seen every little of prophets since Halo 3, but its not like I miss them.
It would be nice to have them return at some point.
If the ghosts, wraiths and banshees make a return then I don’t see why the scarab couldn’t. Hell even a different variation of it wouldn’t be bad.
On a side note, having the revenant and spectre return would be cool as hell.
I don’t mind the lack, but I hope the see a big return of them in Halo 6.
I can understand that they aren’t in the campaign. But it would make a great throw back or some nostalgia to have it at least in Warzone.

I am reserving my judgement till they release all of the planned maps. If we have couple moving Scarabs or Krakens as bases, or as a central base to fight over, it will be awesome.
The Kraken did nothing, was easily defeated too. Wish it would have destroyed a bunch of stuff first or presented some sort of actual threat.

It would be amazing to have one as a Warzone homebase though.
I also think the Locust from Halo Wars should be a warzone REQ card. Abit smaller then it might appear in wars though.
It would be nice to see at least one in the next Halo. I honestly forgot about it during the entire Halo 5 campaign.
Bring back the Scarab! And put it in Warzone!

They have thrown away everything that wasn’t their own creation.
Would be nice to see some of the old gear but maybe the Scarab wasn’t included because they wouldn’t really fit in anywhere during the story?
Can’t say I even considered the Scarab while playing. I tend not to lament what isn’t there and just enjoy what is.
