I want to see many, MANY old maps make a comeback, but one multiplayer map that almost goes completely unheard of, I really want to see again. That map being “Highlands” from Halo: Reach’s ‘Defiant Map Pack’. I don’t know why, but the map reminded me of the Halo: CE days. Maybe because it was sort of similar to Timberland? (Another map I’d love to see). Does anyone else remember and want this map back?
While I never bought any of the map packs in Halo reach, I went and looked it up and it looks like an interesting map. The skybox on that maps is CRAZY cool, it takes place when the covenant start glassing Reach. Any map that we can get in halo 5 is welcome. Plus, I’ve noticed that you’ve made a bunch of posts that don’t rant or complain, props for that

Yeah, the skyboxes in Halo have ALWAYS amazed me (especially the Halo: CE skyboxes). Also, thanks 
I remember it well. Many a machinima shoot done on that map…and, of course, the lore connection.
I remember it, and how it was one of the best looking maps in the entire game. Unfortunately, since it was a DLC map I never got to actually play a real match on it.
I’ve been working on a forge remake of that map for over a month now- schoolwork and the sheer amount of measuring and graph work you have to do to get a faithful accurate recreation has delayed my progress significantly. Honestly I don’t even know if a true remake is possible- 1000 objects just doesn’t seem like enough for this one.

That was a great map. It sucked though because only like 10 people bought that expansion so I never got to play it in big team

I really hope you’ll be able to get it done. I’ve been wanting someone to make a remake of it, but haven’t seen any. Good luck.
It would be cool if they remade it as a war zone map. I feel like it would already almost be big enough.
Reach’s DLC maps were some the best of the series. It’s the only reason why I wanted it added to the MCC. The maps would get justice and finally be played like they should have been.
I remember that being one of the few maps in reach I liked. Typically the other maps were very boring aestecically but that one had a great look and feel. Would love to see it remade.
Highlands and Ridgeline were beautiful DLC maps.
I remember that map very well, i used to play it so much With my friends, sometimes i would just Forget about the objective and just look at the carrier glass The planet. It was pretty good. I agree with you that they should bring a map like that back!
Dude named Home World Hero is doing a remake of it called “Lowlands”, there’s a video of it on his YT channel but I don’t think he’s released the map yet.
I loved that map! My problem is that there were too many power weapons on the map which made the vehicles useless.
I played on that map once it was really sick I also like tempest,break point and anchor 9…I hadn’t played on highlands until 2012 I believe.
seriously, we need a remake of highlands for the memories of reach update just so big team battles could have one vanilla map in the mix.
I hope we get some good Reach remakes in the Reach update.

That was probably Arby N The Chief, one of the later seasons.
