this has been bugging me for a couple days and i cant find the answer im looking for on google or any halo wiki. When i played the beta, there was a map that was in the full game for the first month but got removed (no not orion)… the layout (construction and design/props) was similar to eden or regret… same city type structures it was night time… had staircases and each side had “islands” to hop on to… sometimes if ya tried to spartan shift away from an enemy you’d fall off the map. i dont think they had an official name for the map but its driving me nuts to figure out what it was… i cant find a pic or a video… HELP! thanks!
Could it be Empire? If I recall correctly it should be an eden remix?
no, not empire, but same style… it could have been a map in the full game that lasted a month… i know it was nighttime…
Pegasus? That was removed a few months ago without any notice or words regarding it’s removal and why they removed it.

- Truth - Regret - Eden - Empire - Orion - Pegasus - Trench (Breakout) - Crossfire (Breakout)
no, none of those… im pretty sure it didnt have an official name… it was like “blue 2” or “red 2”… seems lie most of the site have updated it’s list to remove what im thinking of. sux no one can “see” what i thinking of. i do know it had a night time city background… and was NOT eden or EMPIRE… but looked the same (different map layout)

If it wasn’t one of the maps Joltlors listed, then it’s either Eden or Empire, those are the only two city background maps that were in the beta, out of which Eden was at night time.
However, there’s Skyline in Halo 4.

It’s also worth noting that the lighting on Eden changed drastically after the beta, so that might be throwing OP off.

it was NOT eden or empire… i know those maps.
This got me curious, so I searched around, came up with nothing… But I feel like the OP has a point… Something disappeared between beta and release

It was one of those maps buddy. Those were the only ones that were city themed, and Eden was a lot darker in the beta.

Here are some cases:
1: You’ve dreamt it
2: It is either Eden or Empire you’re refering to, probably Eden, but you remember it wrong from the Beta
3: You’re mixing it up with Skyline from Halo 4 which was a night time city roof top map
4: You’re mixing it up with an entirely different game.
There was only two City maps in the Halo 5 beta, Eden and Empire, then there was Truth and Regret as Covenant maps. The other maps were developer Forge maps.
Maybe the fact, that they changed some of the geometry around after the beta for the final game is also throwing you off. I cant remember which out of empire or eden, but in the sprint videos they showed off them changing the geometry and layout for better traversal and competitive gameplay.
This is driving me nuts lol… well what map was in the full game day one but is gone, not orion or pegasus

orion was the only map permanently removed from full game. Pegasus is still in FFA

Aw man ur right on number 3… yeah it’s skyline from h4, I swear I played it in halo 5… or maybe I was back and forth with mcc and beta of 5…

Didn’t play much of Orion or Pegasus…I did play a lot of Empire, Eden, Truth, and Regret though.
