Anyone played a DLC map since it became free?

I stopped playing Halo 4 a long time ago, but I never purchased the DLC and thus never earned the associated achievements. Now that its been made free, I’m wondering if anyone has been able to find a DLC match lately? I wouldn’t mind playing this again if I have a shot at these achievements, but I’m not trying to waste my time if the maps never come up.

I would guess that kixeye has been really bad at informing about free DLC map packs and that it isn’t a general knowledge for the players that they are free. My guess is that it’s more or less a problem that 343 Industries hasn’t advertised it well enough.

I only managed to play 1 dlc map on Action Sack which was called Vertigo I believe its called, I also got an achievement from it too

I play mostly BTB and i have DLC maps four years allready, but I have not yet gotten the chance to play DLCs, not even once.

Wow.

So if I understand right, I have just above a 0% chance of seeing one of these maps come up even though the DLC is free. Since Halo 4 has no DLC playlists, the DLC might as well not even have been made free for all the good its gonna do anyone.

Thanks for letting me know guys. I still might try to find one of these maps at some point if I’m really bored, but I kinda doubt it.

I think Halo 4 and the other Halos that got free DLC should need a minor playlist update and some form of advertisement about the free DLC. If you play Halo 4, you notice that there is nothing stated that we have got free DLC map packs.

I always felt bad for persuading my friend to buy the DLCs four years ago because no matter what playlist we were in we never got the chance to play the castle dlc.
