Just curious to see how it controls as mouse gives you more precise aiming of your reticle vs. using controller.
I know some people on PC have spoke up about the bug when using a controler, it gets wonky because it thinks its using mouse input?
I dont expect many (if any) play this way, just curious.
I have never used that setup on a console, but I have used a controller at the same time as a mouse. I control the left stick and side triggers on my controller, and use the mouse for everything else. It’s different, to say the least. You move very differently, faster actually.
I don’t recommend it as it’s weird, but I get dumb ideas and go with it. The aim is pretty fast/precise and you can make weapon rotations weirdly faster than just using keyboard/mouse, so… try it if you get bored. A friend of mine got on me and told me to stop doing it as it was a wonky experience, so I do MnK or Controller…not both anymore.
I have never had my controller go wonky when using it on it’s own or even mixing in using a mouse at the same time. The only time it gets weird is if I have steam still running in the background and it overrides my controller settings - then it will act like a mouse. (I play on PC using the Gamepass)

I start playing halo since 2010 in pc with halo custom edition, it IS better for me mouse and keywoard, with controllers you only kill thx to aim assist.
