Anyone play Halo 5 Forge on PC still?

Hi guys, another month, another post from me talking about Halo 5 on Windows.

I was curious, does anyone on these forums still play Halo 5 Forge?
The app is still free to download for those who are curious, It is in dire need of casual players, there is a discord group that mostly has competitive players. But making team games work on any server is a pain.

Let me know if you guys are interested in playing H5F, I have a lot of game modes, and am trying to have a regular custom game night on Saturdays again.

nope, simply because it’s on the windows store only and uwp. i wanted to try it but because they made it uwp exclusive i said screw that. i may have windows 10 on my pc but the store and the uwp platform is garbage. don’t understand why they keep refusing to port it or the whole game to other store platforms. store is always the first app i removed when i upgrade windows 10. don’t want any of that app junk.

i’ve heard that it feels similar to the Series X, and you can change your FOV unlike on xbox H5.

i booted it up awhile ago to show my friends how stripped it is from normal halo 5 and there was one match ongoing

I installed H5 Forge on my PC, but I almost find some games, there are no many people there, for that reason, I keep playing H5 on Xbox One.

I play it occasionally just to mess around, but other than that I play Xbox halo 5

I wonder why 343 don’t release all Halo 5 game complete for PC, I played H5 in my PC with the Custom Browser and look amazing compared to H5 of Xbox One.

This would be a dream come true but at this point I don’t think 343 can dedicate their resources to something like this since they’re working on Infinite and MCC.

You’re right dude, but hey, we are going to have Halo Infinite for console and PC, we are going to enjoy it as it should be. H5 will already be left behind for most.

Have fun with it, man! I was mainly talking about the multiplayer mode for PC. But hey, at least there are people on Xbox.

Since i’m updating my pc to Windows 11, Halo 5 Forge dosnt work.
I cant lunch it, i just have a “grey window” when i click on it.
Can you still lunch it on Windows 10 ?? :frowning:

launches fine for me on windows 11. it’s dead though (multiplayer)

it you installed it with the halo hub app, you gotta uninstall that for the game to launch.

not worth installing anymore though.

Oooooooh !
I was sure it was because of Halo App.
But how do I uninstall it?
When I try, it also uninstalls H5:Forge! :’(

In windows go to uninstall programs / add or remove programs there you will find the Halo App
