I’ve been trying it out, and it seems like it has potential. It’s saved me a couple times and it’s good for when you stick someone up close and then shield to protect yourself. It seems like your shields won’t recharge while you have it up though which kind of sucks. I can’t decide what my favorite armor ability is, any thoughts?
I can say with certainty that Hardlight Shield is ridiculously cool, even if it is really limited.
The only thing that I would change/add at all would be to have it actually reflect grenades with some force to actually throw them away from you. Plenty of times you’ll block a grenade and it’ll end up under your shield where it kill you anyway.
Aside from that it is good for peeking around corners and great for covering your retreat around an edge. I’ve seen some gentlemen use it to great effect on Ragnarok, coming out over the hill to shoot and popping hardlight shield to retreat when they are hurt. It is smart.
I actually haven’t used it yet, I like being stealthy with the camo.

Honestly it`s more powerful than AL if you have a good team. I essentially cannot lose long range fights. If I start to get down I just put it up and walk away as my team swoops in.
