I have no interest in buying this game until doubles is added to multiplayer. Anyone know if it’s been added yet? It’s been out for months.
Multi Team is the newest playlist I believe with Warzone Firefight & Infection rolling in later on.

Yup. Well, we tried to play with others for a while like at the launch of MCC. but it just sucks. There is no strategy involved, people just run around trying to get the best power weapon and get kills. They don’t care about how many times they get killed in the process. And to be honest, we are just a good team and we have no interest in having others in our group.

I mean… I play 95% of my games solo and I do well individually. My W/L ratio is barely 50% (meaning the matchmaking system is pretty solid). I have no problems playing solo… but to each his own I guess.

I just want to be able to play Halo and keep in touch with my long distance friend, like we always have. 343 continues to ruin it by seriously limiting the playlists that cater to the majority. I don’t think a doubles playlist is going to steal that much away from the general population. They’ve really ruined what was a years long nightly tradition for me and my buddy.
I think regardless of people’s preferences for how they like to play, doubles is a must for a ranked playlist. There are enough people who want to play it, and a ton who have yet to speak up about it.
The latest update said nothing about double team, which is probably one of the longest running and most frequently requested playlists. 343 seems to be focused more on social modes like grifball, infection and firefight (all of which do nothing for me). It’s pretty sad really. Maybe they’ll accommodate hardcore Arena players…some day.

Glad it’s solid for you, but personally I think the new ranking system sucks. Placement matches and resets are a joke. I can’t get a single match without playing an unranked player. It’s seriously unbalanced and frustrating. Worst ranking in Halo to date.
It is a lot easier to find one other player to team up with and compete with than finding 4 as then you are paired with random team mates yet potentially facing a team of 4

Agreed. I decided to play solo last night… played Team Arena and lost all 7 games with most of the games being unbalanced. I had lag in most games which didn’t help either; hopefully matchmaking preferences in the coming update will mean choosing to search for your region only!

Cant wait to choose my region. Sick of having a bad kd cos im playing on the wrong server. It is so blatantly obvious when the other player has a 0.5 second advantage over you. I often wonder how on earth i got the ranks i did, all things considering.
I was doing quite well until they removed the region lock, since the reset I have dropped from Gold 5 to Silver and seem to get a kill. Previously I woould never have lost 7 games in a row, but playing against US based opposition I have gone from 4 deaths a match to over 20. I wont play now until these matchmaking options are put in place

I no longer have fun on this game, and I haven’t for months really. 343i fails to understand that we need Team Doubles and also Team Snipers. I’m really tired of posting about it and quite frankly, it’s been so long I probably won’t play even if they do give us the playlists. 343 has ruined this franchise, and I feel bad for the kids who never experienced Halo 2 or Halo 3. They missed out on what Halo truly is.

I’ll never understand how they could botch playlists so badly. Doubles has always been a core Halo playlist. Oh well, good old days are over. Gotta cater to casuals.
