I started playing Halo 3 again since my friends recently got the game. I came back and my level in lone wolves was 24 and my friends were level 1 and they’ve only gone up a few levels. I’ve wanted to have fun and play against them so I’ve tried to lower my level by quitting a bunch, which didn’t seem to work. I then tried to lose but somehow grew a level to 25 even though the highest position I placed was 3rd after someone quit a few times. I figured it’s not a team game so there’s no harm in tanking some games to get my level closer to theirs. Anyone know how to reliably lower my level? From the research I’ve done I havn’t seen anyways to lower level or if it’s even possible.
It easier for them to rank up, 25 is a low level and you will not derank easly.

Instead of deranking your self try and help them reach your level so y’all can play together. I know it may take some time but it’s better for new players to be a team of new players rather than a team of new players and this dude who deranked. Personally just think it’s more fun that way.
