Played a recent CTF game on Ragnarok and a player on the opposing team I think went 58-3. Every kill he had was with a sniper rifle of some sort, besides 8 that he had with the SPARTAN Laser. Was this a cheat/mod that he was using or is it a loadout that I wasn’t paying attention to. He was also a level 21 on the game. To make matter worse he didn’t miss ever. Now I know you can’t trust killcams, but it seemed every shot regardless of how far from the target hit. Just curious if anyone else as seen this,or if im just that bad of a player.
Were you playing Infinity CTF? If so, this would explain how they did it.

Killcams are almost never accurate, but I would be suspicious if I were you.

It’s not unheard of. I heard from many friends (one who is going to an AGL tournament to compete) that CTF is the best way to get kills, ordinances, and perfections. I have friends who are in their low 30s for level who have mastered the Perfection commendation, and they always say to play CTF. And it’s not impossible to achieve such high scores. I went 48-6 on BTB and 72-6 on Grifball.
Op, he wasnt modding. If he was, he’d be insta-killing you with infinite sniper rounds from an AR. Nobody can mod to have a certain weapon in their loadouts as it’s tied to serverside data. He was just a good player that was probably using a 2nd account and destroying people that arent high in skill.
58-3 isnt that hard to come by in Infinity CTF either. And Ragnarok snipes spawn every 3 minutes on top of a random drop by turret. It’s not hard to consistantly have 10 shots in it at all times with the Ammo perk either.

Last time I checked you can’t get Perfections outside of slayer game types, so…yeah. Obj has always been a good place to pad your stats. Does it mean that you’re good? No.
There were no ordnance drops. So he couldn’t have been getting them that way.
There’s still the Ordnance drops on the map. Ragnarok pretty much always has Snipers Splasers. He’s probably just really good and wanted to stat pad in CTF.
I was just curious since that was the first time I experience that sort of domination in Halo 4. I know its easy to jump to conclusions when you get your butt kicked, but there was just to many things going to seem legitimate (ex. ridiculous killcams, which I know shouldn’t be bothered with, but they were the worst I have seen). Most likely he was just that good, and I suck, but I figured I would ask.

Then he just kept getting the base sniper and not missing. Sorry to say, but it sounds like you just got pooped on and are now calling haxorz. BTW if he had beach base and was on flat rock he had access to the binary rifle that spawns there (if it did) also. Controlling sniper in a CTF game where you can just sit back and snipe is not hard, especially on Ragnarock.
