Seriously. All I have seen are the same complaints over again. So I’m just gunna sum it all up so yall don’t need to fill the enitre bloody forums with your negativity.
<mark>-1-50…</mark> it’s coming, be patient (inb4 it’s not visible, okay so what you still get your satisfaction of seeing how good you are without incentive to cheat, is that totally a bad thing?)
<mark>-boltshot, dmr, weak vehicles -</mark> I’m with you on the vehicles, however if you can’t get away from a boltshot on a regular basis/know how to round corners/use promo vision/keep your distance then thats pretty sad. Plus dmr was kind of designed to be the go-to precision weapon, if you can’t beat em, join em.
<mark>-declining population -</mark> read an earlier post that mathematically proved that halo is only 8% of regular playing population behind COD:BLOPS2, the only reason BLOPS2 has more people playing is because it is more popular and always has been, that doesn’t necessarily mean the halo population (from Reach to now at least) has gone anywhere. We are a smaller player base than COD so we can’t expect to compare, but that doesn’t mean we are dieing. So what if there aren’t 1 zillion people on in the first few weeks like in 3. Its almost impossible to have that initial type of attraction in a modern market, with all the juggernaut IP’s currently in play. (COD:BLOPS2 doesn’t even have 3’s initial population)
<mark>-gameplay elements are crap-</mark> The gameplay has changed, some changes are good, others not so much, but lets be honest, from a business perspective a re-skin is not attractive (for halo at least, works for COD only because their gameplay elements define “modern”). Maybe this isn’t totally the halo you remember, but it is the face of halo now. Change is part of life no matter what you do, if you can’t learn to live with it in a video game, then… well nuff said.
<mark>-campaign/spartan ops isn’t good-</mark> TOTALLY OPIONION, you are entitled to yours, others are entitled to theirs, this is not a valid point to hate on H4 with.
<mark>-current ranking system-</mark> While I agree a skill system should exist, I think the exp amount required to hit max in H4 is fine, and the skill system should be separate from xp (xp only determines in game rank, skill exists solely, well to show skill, not affecting in game rank to prevent cheating). Would you rather have a thousand hour grind fest like in Reach? It’s fine the way it is, so long as a SEPARATE skill system is added.
*If you can’t play the game to enjoy it and need to be perpetually grinding, why even play? Grinding isn’t really playing. Competition is.
SOLUTION: Leave current SR system and add a separate 1-50 which is WHAT THEY ARE DOING! So be patient!
<mark>Maps are crap-</mark> Wait for the map packs to all be released first. I personlly don’t think some of them are that bad. They are just different, and apparently that automatically makes everything bad. /sarcasm
<mark>custom games are unacceptable-</mark> this is the only thing I agree should be changed. However, these threads have been up forever, I think they may have seen them once or twice already.
<mark>bug patches/specialization codes-</mark> should be fixed, but they have been working on it since halo bulletin #1, so give them some time, if you have any clue what goes into what they are doing then you would be a little more empathetic. Specialization codes however, should really be attended to quickly.
In short, these threads have been flooding the forums forever now. Hundreds of threads about the same crap. 343i knows, I know, everyone knows, heck even my roomate who occasionally walks across and glances at my comuter screen knows since you’ve posted it SOOO many bloody times, even my dead great grandfather probably knows…
Try to post something new if you are going to, otherwise JUST STOP… or even better try to post something that isn’t, “you should really patch this glitch of people better than me” okay thats an overexaggeration but you get the idea. if you really can’t deal with it LEAVE, others will replace you I assure you.
