Anyone have mixed feelings on the characters?

In spartan ops…

We have good characters like Roland, Gabriel Thorne, and Lasky who are very likable,

and than we have characters like Palmer…

Halsy seemed suspicious for a while, but I think with her throwing the key to Thorne shows who she’s really for. and I love thorne’s comment at the end of episode 9.

Lol owns Palmer…

But either way, I don’t like Palmer at all…she’s the soldier machine that chief mentions.
Doesn’t care just does what she’s told without thinking.

I figured Lasky to be a standup guy…

Those 3 highlighted characters are the only characters i really like in Spartan ops. I hope they will appear in halo 5 spartan ops, if their even is a SpOps.

Think I might be the only one who actually enjoys Palmer’s character. Then again… I hate Cortana and Halsey -.-;;

I just love Jul 'Mdama.

Palmer is not a Spartan, she’s a -Yoink- in power armour. She follows orders like a lap dog and doesn’t think on the fly. When crap hit the fans at the end of Ep9 she chose to shoot Halsey cause apparently she was in league with the covenant despite the fact that the covenant were clearly holding her against her will.

Roland is actually an awesome AI and a great character. I like him as much as Halo: CE’s Cortana (easily the best version of Cortana). “Yes Dr. Catherine Halsey.” “Right away, Dr. Catherine Halsey”. I love his little idiosyncrasies!

But yeah, agreed OP. Most of the other SPOPS characters are either pretty cliche or are annoying to the point where it starts to detract a lot from the enjoyment of the cinematics.
