Hello, I have been playing halo 5 since it has come out, however I have yet to receive any legendary REQS except for the legendary weapon Twin Jewels of Maethrillian, I am currently level 67 and would like to know if anyone has had any better luck than me - I have been using the gold REQ packs- (This does not include the locus helmet that I lost when the servers disconnected or the Halo Championship Series pack (HCS pack)); please post if you have had any better luck and if there is any better better method please.

your main problem has been it seems youve only been buying the gold packs, so yes gold says you recieved rare to legendary, but it should have the disclaimer that if you dont have all commons and uncommons then you will be recieving those as well. to save you req points and open up the lesser desired items you should stay to only opening silver packs from now on until you unlock all the common, uncommon and rare items. you can reveive 4 permanet unlocks from two silver packs instead of only 2 form the gold
Yea I’m almost level 70 and I’m still grinding silver packs. Tried to switch to gold but it was too early.

yea, im still going at silvers as well, i think i did the math and i need 45 more silver packs before i can buy gold for the ultra rare and higher only unlocks. which should only be like a week, maybe two at the absolute most to get to

Only 2 or 3 things, wish I didn’t waste £20 on platinum packs, got garbage, £20 on silvers/gold would have been better!
I used a legendary arena rp boost, won the game and I got a staggering 750 points, night as well of lost a game in Warzone!

If you’re only level 67 and have been playing since October, play more…that seems really low to me.
I’m a level 95 and have a few legendarys.
Anyway, I can’t unlock any commons, uncommons or rares.

Same, Nornfang from daily win, and i’ve seen other people with the same…
I have that and Heartseeker - big ole incineration cannon
Had a legendary RP boost, a warzone win boost and luckily won the match so got 3000 bonus RP
that’s it for me, level 58
Just 11 customizations and 4 boosts. I’ve been mostly buying silver packs, so I’ve got a total of 25 commons and uncommons left to go.
It took me until around rank 90 to get them and that is if you do the REQ system right. Buying all bronze, then silver, then gold from the beggining.
I have a few. What sort are you talking about mainly? I had to buy a lot of silver packs before they started dropping in gold packs though.
to OP yes you should switch to silvers for now untill you have everything rare and below unlocked youll unlockl everyhting faster an when you finally buy gold packs itll be much easier to get the legendary items you require

I would say go for either bronze or silvers to get rid of commons to rare. Gold packs will have some rares leftover cause Idk why but it would be quick to get rid for sure. Cause one you are done with silver, you will be refunded 3500 req points every time you buy it after getting a legendary req item for completing silver. Going for gold all the time especially if you are starting the game is not the best way to do it. I don’t know how people came up with that idea.

This happened to me with bronze packs last night I got 500 req points off a bronze pack so I’m assuming I’m done with all commons.
Theres a lot of emblems diluting the silver aren’t there?
a ton of embelms out of the 45 ish silver packs i have left to buy prob 36 or just to unlock the emblems lol which i would rather get 4 emblems for 10k instead of only 2 for the same price so im going to still grind out the silvers
People on here keep saying buy bronze then Silver then gold. However I have only bought gold from the beginning and I have a fair amount of legendaries without completing all the commons and uncommons. Did 343 recommend people buy bronzes then silvers then golds or is that just what people have assumed they should do?

Think they are just trying to say that you will have more chance at getting good stuff if you have the other stuff out of the way. I’m pretty much only buying golds now too though and I’m only SR 50.
