Anyone got a mic?

Does anyone have a headset anymore? Because I don’t know if I’m not researching the right people or no one plays with a headset anymore. The reason why I say this is because I love to talk to my teammates and see who else loves Halo like I do.

If you have a mic go right ahead and send me a message.

It may actually have to do with people being in parties most of the time rather than being in game chat. However if you are sure to speak in game chat, others will chime in too. I may be in a party a lot, but when I do go into game chat I make sure to speak and I end up getting others who were just listening until someone spoke up.

I haven’t not used a mic since Halo 2.

I do I really try to get others in game chat, but for some reason it doesn’t work for me. I don’t know if I’m just running into the toxic members of the Halo community or what. If you would like to give me any tips or anything please text me or send me a message.

Why is that? (Not trying to attack you in anyway btw)

Because I like to cooperate with teammates (yes, even randoms) and smack talk BKs.

EDIT: maybe I should have worded my response differently, what I mean is, I’ve always used my mic since Halo 2

there are 3 types of people who play Halo

Those in private parties

Those who don’t use their mics

and finally those who use their kinect as a mic and leave it on so we can hear everything going on their house, dogs barking, mom yelling, their awful music, and my personal favorite their smoke detector battery beeping because it needs to be replaced

…BEEP!..BEEP!..BEEP!

how do you live with that noise! Geezus!

the last person I mute instantly.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that just simply not talking in gamechat qualifies them as being toxic.

I have a mic.

Yes but I don’t use it lmao

I honestly don’t really blame you honestly.

Do you use it thought?

I do have a mic but im either in a party chat or mute myself until needed esp in warzone

I turn on my mic and mute it, then turn the volume all the way down, then take off the mic and leave it off

I only use my mic in party.

im tired of some idiot blasting his music, or listening to many people conversing in a different language in the same room because some dummy left his Kinect mic on.

it kinda sucks cuz I did enjoy the good old days when almost everyone used a mic.

I only use my mic to talk to friends if we happen to be in a party, otherwise, I just mute everyone. It’s either some kid screaming in his mic (FYI, I tend to yell, but I don’t use a mic, so it doesn’t bother anyone), some guy eating potato chips, some kid who thinks he’s hilarious and talking like he’s making a youtube video that’ll probably get like 12 views, or just some generally rude person. I know I’ll just enjoy the game much more without hearing people in general, it’s just how I roll.

Game chat Literally became annoying rathe then helpful during Halo 3
