What I mean is have a buddy let you stand on top while he drives around. Anyone else going to do this? I just think that it would be hilarious. I know I’ll be put in a very vulnerable situation but I think it would confuse the enemy team for long enough for me to achieve or assist a few kills before death. I’d also have a decent vantage point on a map like Valhalla. Nearly always being able to see over the hill.

Mantis sniping is more vulnerable than Banshee or Falcon snipping. I’d say you are least vulnerable on a falcon lol.
Someone on top with rockets or a spartan laser would make the Mantis even more formidable. Hell have 2 guys on top with ripped turrets.

Meh, I’d rather be driving it. Or a Warthog. Or a Ghost. Or a Banshee.
Imagine someone with the Binary Rifle on top of a Mantis. The Mantis could cover the sniper while they’re scoped in, negating the disadvantage of the BiRi’s laser sight. The Mantis, because of its wide, 3rd person field of view could also call out enemies to the sniper.

You’ve just put an awesome image in my head of a mantis standing on top of another mantis (if it’s possible). Who says it should stop there, mantis on warthog, on scorpion, on BANSHEE! (I felt the last idea was so cool it deserved capital letters)
