I’m getting halo 5 no matter what.
I don’t realy mind these new things every halo was a bit different and no matter what i always had fun.
Halo 2 might be the best cuz it was the timeframe we played it in.
Cod wasn’t that big and xbox live was limited so we played with what we had.
the majority of the time of halo 2 i didn’t even play it on xbox live but on XboxConnect.
So my question is is there anyone else who don’t realy mind these new things and just insta buys it no matter what ?
Yup, I’m a Halo fan through and through in it’s purest form. I honestly like what I see with Guardians; clean, smooth, fast and exciting gameplay!
It’s going to be an awesome game, I’m sure of it.
I don’t think halo 5 is a good sequel to previous halo games, but I think it will be a fantastic game itself. If you think of it as a sequel to the original trilogy or even Halo 4, it looks really weird, but if you forget about those and just think of it like a stand alone game it looks really fun.
I’m going to get it however I don’t think I’m going to get it no matter what seeing as it is still at least a year way and Precursors only know what could happen by then.
Probably. Long time Halo fan here (from the days when it was a Mac only game.)
The only reason I’m going to buy the MCC is to play the Guardians BETA. if that doesn’t appeal to me, then Guardians officially becomes a “maybe.” Life at 32 isn’t like life at 20, when all I did was play CE over the college LAN. Life (career, mortgage, family) limits the amount of time I can spend on video games. Right now I have a handful that keep me more than satisfied… so unless Guardians will supplant them, then I see no reason to rush into it.

Agreed. Guardians is definitely a shot in the dark for 343I with things like Spartan Abilities, and it does seems weird when you think of a classic games comparison. But, hey…it’s evolution…

I am planning on getting H5 regardless. made a good amount of money on GB from the last few halos, dont see any reason not to keep going! it’ll be a fun game.
Probably yes at this point. More innovative view of basic FPS mechanics + another opportunity to continue 343’s campaign writing = sale. Whether or not its the best Halo evar doesn’t really matter, the basics are there for an enjoyable game.
Definitely. The MP looks fun, might even ignite the fire of try-hard in me, and given that 343 are about seven times better at storytelling than Bungie was, the lore nut in me will be greatly pleased.
Well, yeah. I really like Halo 4’s campaign, second best only to CE for me. I also had a lot of fun playing multiplayer, but like most others I quit after a couple months and went back to Reach/3. No matter what, the game will be worth the $60 entry fee–343 is talented enough to make fantastic games, even if they aren’t fantastic HALO games.
Whether I’ll stick with it or drop it like I did Halo 4 remains to be seen. FYI, I bought no DLC for Halo 4. Still enjoyed it plenty, however.
I will for sure be! The changes look intriguing (and much more in line with feeling like a supersoldier), plus I am dying to know where the story is taking us. I love me some Halo, especially new Halo.
