It won’t be out Friday. The update won’t be as good as you expect it to be. Lower your expectations and brace for the people who will have something negative to say because their expectations aren’t humanely possible. My expectations aren’t above the possibilities tho, I’m expecting a Hammer Storm sized update with some reach reqs I just really want to know what they added

The only hope I have is for decent matchmaking preference options that actually work. With region lock being lifted from Australia/NZ it’s great now that we are able to play certain game modes like Warzone Assault and Free For All, however with the latency / button delay issues at present the regular guys I played with most nights and I have slowly drifted away from playing as much as coming up against any sort of similarly skilled competition who aren’t dealing with the latency just slaughter us now. Not an excuse, absolutely love this game but the sheer distance between us here in Australia and the servers in America means the lag will always present an issue. Match making options will save the game for myself and many more!
I’m pretty anxious, I just hope the community goes easy on them, but at the same time I don’t want 343 to keep -Yoinking!- up

My hopes are all on matchmaking preferences! And im from the US. But I do go to Sydney every year… totally love it there. What part of Aussie are you from?
It will be interesting to see what tweaks they made.

There has been the odd time since region lock being lifted that we have actually had the server advantage over some American teams, which I can’t work out at all but needless to say the lads we were playing against were not at all happy with us with a few rude messages sent afterwards haha. I’m in Western Australia, Perth more specifically so the latency to those West Coast American servers is even worse! I love that 343 gave a try by opening things up but surely they realise it’s ruining the game for the most part. Fingers crossed Memories of Reach get it right with these options.
I am excited but not too excited. Don’t get me wrong I am really looking forward to the new update but I’m def not looking forward to logging in here and seeing all the toxic posts about how bad it is and how its not the same as old infection and so on…
People tend to expect so much of them, so honestly I’d be fascinated if they added much past infection and noble team armour. Although since everyone can dream, I hope they add remodels of helmets that have the little gizmos on the side like in Reach to replace all those crappy reskins. That’d never happen, but y’know
If they don’t show the CQB Helmet in this REQ Teaser i’ll lose my -Yoink-… getting ready to flip every table in the building
Playable Elites would always be nice.
