Spartan Ops 10 spoiler below
MC’s mum was shot and is in trouble. Not to mention, in Promethean/ Covenant territory…sounds like the perfect segue for Chief. You don’t f*** with the MC’s mum (or closest thing he’s got to a mom).
I think it is a possibility.
I hope he doesn’t…considering its the last episode of the season I think it would be a little random to just throw him in.
And he’s not all knowing lol…how would he know halsy (however you spell it) got shot.
Lol I think it would be just too random at this point. They would have to find a really good way to do it…but I honestly don’t think they will…
It would be dumb not to include him or at least the other Spartan II’s e.g. Kelly/ Linda. In the books, the two get excited to see one another during long lapses, as if they are mother and son…and he’s the only one Halsey has ever been that way with. She’s very protective over him.

It would be the perfect segue into the second season. Something to look forward to. If anyone had read the books and understood their relationship, it would be the perfect thing to do. Some even suspect Chief may be Halsey’s direct son.
I am happy with it as long as Jul 'Mdama survives.

Think they meant with Jorge from the fact that in Reach. When the team meets up with Halsey we hear Jorge say. “Hello mom.” Son? No. But by all rights she did make him who he was so it’s understandable. MC being her son? No. I’d flip a lid if they decided to change what we know about MC being an orphan when she met him when he was little. Plus that’d take away her seemingly guilt over how she treated Miranda who in fact was her daughter.

i was just playing around with that, b/c jorge called halsey “mom”, then i was like, nah…theirs no way. Now with ppl saying their is a possibility that MC maybe Halsey’s son, I am really curious.

I think Chief is around 42-ish. He was 34 in Halo 3. I don’t think age much counts for the SII’s, with all that nano-tech and enhancements, they probably age slower…not to mention they’re in cryo so often. Not sure about Halsey, I don’t remember if Fall of Reach mentioned her exact age as a reference point. she has to be pushing mid 60’s.
