Played a game of team slayer the other night against a pretty inexperienced team. BR was always available for some reason and it was just one of those games where it felt like every little thing was going right. I ended up like 24 and 5 or something around there. As the game is ending my random teammate says in chat that I’m cheating my butt off. I told him no and to go watch the theater if he needed proof.
Cheating definitely exists in this game, but have we gotten to the point where every time somebody has an extra good game it’s cheating? I’m not on PC and I’ve had the same gamertag for about 20 years with a bazillion gamerscore. The chances of someone like me cheating are slim to none. Do people not consider things like that before blindly accusing people?
There are players who use scores like this as “definitive proof” for identifying a cheater.
I’m sure everyone’s been called a cheater at some point. You can only hope someone clips the vid and posts it online somewhere claiming you’re a cheater
But I agree, it’s gone from reasonable speculation to full blown witch hunt.
yep a few weeks ago i went 25 and 14 and got called a cheater by someone who went 12 and 19, they sent me an xbox message saying that they sent the footage to joe at 343, said i had snap on aim,
I went 34-8 in SWAT last night. No messages but pretty sure I would have been reported. Used to receive cheating accusation messages quite regularly on CODMW.
This game just seems very hit or miss. Some games it feels like you have a super gun and others it feels like it takes 6 BR bursts to bring someone down.
Both ways.
Some people called me a cheater.
But stupid as i am sometimes, i called others cheater (before even checking on the theater if they really cheat).
Frustration makes me irrational sometimes.
