So with the introduction of the Achilles armor I’ve started seeing alot of threads popping up over in the Halo 5 section of the forums about all of the spawn camping in warzone. Now I’m seeing many pop up for both sides of the argument and its giving a bad case of Deja Vu from the Destiny forums. I was an active member on those forums up until a few months ago when I finally gave up on going there because it just became a toxic wasteland of nothing but rants and arguments over what should be done to the game.
Now I’m seeing the same trends show up here starting with the Achilles armor where someone will suggest an idea to help alleviate the problem and not too long after someone comes up with another post that pretty much calls the previous idea garbage and say that nothing is wrong.
Any other people that came over from the Destiny forums starting to see this as well?
Forgive my ignorance on the matter but how does one even acquire the Achilles armor? The reason I ask is because a lot of complaints seem to be stemming from the way people get Achilles armor which I am still ignorant of at this time.

You have to join a spartan company. Then you all have to grind kill commendations together. Once you completed lvl 3 of all of them you unlock armor, complete lvl 5 and get helmet.

seems like a waste of time. warzone is beat anyway
the grind, randomness and uselessness of reqs items is real.
It’s terrible, i can’t even enjoy warzone anymore… my favorite gametype ruined because of tryhards. I guess its back to the stale arena, well until assault and stuff comes out.
Thanks for the replies people. Yeah, so my thoughts on this are that because of this new objective of getting Achilles armor by grinding kill medals this has influenced a large number of people to spawn trap and kill farm in objective oriented games including Warzone thus ruining the experience for anyone who isn’t in a well organized team when they enter warzone.
This could be possibly fixed by making the Achilles grind more based on games completed than kill counts. There will still be teams of try hards sure but at least the matches will go buy quickly making it less painful for everyone.

I’d say thats definitely part of what causes problems, but without being privy to the inner workings of the companies we have no way of knowing for sure.
