Anyone Found a way to resolve the disconnect issue

that is haunting halo 5 forge on windows? thought i’d try here since people are not seeming to be getting any kind of replies from 343 themselves on the support section. I have gotten like 5 different error messages
“there was a problem with the dedicated server”
“failed to reach halo 5 lobby service”
" you have been disconnected from your local network"
There is more i keep getting than those. My question is was this not tested? honestly things like this should have undergone some beta and alpha testing before getting thrown out to the public because this is definitely not a good first impression of a tool that has gotten many praises. The number of errors i and many others are getting is freaking ridiculous and im finding it actually hard to understand because it isnt like we have any matchmaking capabilities

and what is funny now is that even on these forums i have gotten multiple error messages…

Great first impression, been awhile since i last posted on here, back before i did not have a pc

no one?

Yeah, I get those too. No idea why.

I can only give you a few ideas. One make sure you are wired and not using any wireless connection. Second make sure you have the necessary ports open or have your Nat set to Open… If you don’t do either you will have disconnects. But those listed are the common over looked ones. Again im only giving you the most common problems. Anything more you will just have to hope and pray 343i chimes in and helps with possible fixes… Good luck!

i figured it out and its a dumb thing that does not make sense why it implemented this way and i hope it will change but whenever i have my norton firewall on it disconnects from levels and forge but when i turn my firewall off it works. on my norton setting i allowed the halo file but that doesnt fix it so i just have it off whenever i play it
