Anyone fell like 343 is completely ignoring us?

Ronseal.

Why would you assume that? They have already clarified that “flinch” is going to be removed (because it is an animation glitch). That shows that they are clearly reading our feedback and making notes of it. They can’t respond to every persons problem, and obviously they won’t respond when they haven’t talked out many of these things as a TEAM.

Besides, better to wait until the beta is over to get FULL impressions. For instance: I saw people complaining about the Prophet’s Bane not feeling like the classic energy sword. Sure enough here comes the ACTUAL energy sword.

I’m not sure what you expect. They put the beta out a year early so they CAN listen to us.

It just doesn’t seem like they are interacting as much as they could. Just look at how well DICE is handling the BF4 CTE. A few of their members are on /r/Batlefield_4 on reddit as well as having a dedicated forum. 343 REALLY need to step up their game and have a proper section for suggestions, polls and other feedback that is heavily moderated around the clock.

Far from ignoring us.

Based on the nonsense that I read on these forums, they probably should be ignoring us and just making their game. But I don’t think they are.

Exactly. I’m glad that they aren’t listening to every crybaby here who thinks they can build a better halo.

Twitter isn’t exactly the best platform for the the of feedback needed. Sure it has a big audience, but keeping track of large discussions like a forum isn’t as easy.

yeah, just another dstraction from the MCC broken issues we are already facing…Just gonna go ahead amd make another broke game.
343i is listening, just not gonna make ammends to what the real issue is…Impossible deadlines and hurried content to market another broke MP and FPS…
The last good MP FPS was H2…When Bungie screwed H2 up amd MS had a falling out with it, it dumped the whole Halo community into a tailspin and never recovered, but left us all with a bad taste in our mouths and we just don’t want another broke false piece o junk to waste our time and money…!

They aren’t very active on the forums, so if you don’t follow them on Twitter, I can see how one would think they are ignoring you.

We begged for a game with no flinch, no killstreaks, no perks, and no loadouts and for the franchise to return to arena-style gameplay and they game us exactly that.
I’m pretty sure they’re listening.

I don’t expect them to be active all year around, but they really should be active during the Beta.

Have some patience. Everyone is proposing all sorts of ideas, and they can’t test all of them at once. Besides, its only been a week. They’re going to need a lot of data before any serious changes can be made.

What about Sprint, Ground pound, custom controls, the ranking system, broken player collision, killcam, annoying callouts, excessive amount of callouts, power weapon announcements and all the other stuff people are complaining about? Are they going to chime in on this?

They should be making polls for us to vote on about what needs changing, what needs to be added and what needs to be removed.

Are you sure you’re not completely ignoring 343i?

Again, Twitter, it reaches a much larger audience. They’ve already came out a few times today to squash the rumor mills about Autoscoping, bullet magnetism, lag compensation, etc. Josh Holmes has sent out probably 50+ individual tweets to people today alone.

the last good MP FPS was H2 and then you said Bungie screwed H2 up? i thought H2 was a huge success? and then H3 after it was as well. now… Halo ODST… whew. i was working at a gamestore when that came out and i remember the anger (except for firefight mode, that was a blast). then reach was sort of meh to everyone.
then there was glorious halo 4.
i mean, if you separate yourself from the anxieties of the matchmaking from MCC and and slower connections in this beta, you can realize that Halo has always enjoyed some pretty good success. and based on how much i loved halo 4, i’m gonna have faith in 5.

Twitter isn’t really as good as a forum for this type of stuff though.

Twitter is good to get info spread out really quickly, but the best discussion is indeed on the forums. 343 do and have been reading and responding on the forums. Look out for posts from the Forum team making updates and replies in the Halo 5 beta forums. They’ve made quite a few posts since the beta launched. As far as MCC goes, they haven’t forgotten about that either. A content update is in the works and should hopfully be released next week. Date is speculation though, there is no ETA. I say next week as that is my own thoughts on when it might drop
