Anyone ever wonder...

why 500 years in the future we’d be still using gas vehicles such as the Warthog?
Don’t get me wrong; I love the warthog. But it always seemed weird to me why the UNSC would use vehicles that offer little to no protection for the people in it and run off of fuel.

Anyone else ever think about this?

I’m pretty sure the vehicles are Hydrogen engine stuff. Water power.

Starships use Fusion Reacters.

These are the generic, main and manaeuverable vehicles of the UNSC. They are open for firing from occupants and have guns on top. The Warthog was designed to be fast.

The Warthog is powered by a hydrogen engine.

it runs off of i think hydrogen or nitrogen so it prolly gets amazing mpg.

Yeah what everyone else is saying. It does run from Hydrogen power, but the sound of a gasoline engine was just far too cool to pass up on. That is why it sounds like that instead of being silent like an actual hydrogen powered vehicle would be.

Ah okay. That makes much more sense, thanks for the clarification.

Still, I can’t help wonder why warthogs leave everyone in it wide open lol.

no the real question is why are we still using bullets?
