Not sure what kind of algorithm is used to determine CSR during the qualifying matches. My teammates and I won 10/10 in Team Arena and we each received different rankings. My KD and KDA for those 10 games were 1.89 and 2.57, respectively, and I was put in Gold 3. One of my partners had 0.72 (KD) and 1.19 (KDA) and was put in Gold 5, and the other had 1.32 (KD) and 1.91 (KDA) and was put in Diamond 2. 343i, how is this right, fair, or fun? I don’t mind working through the ranks to prove myself if everyone starts at 1 like previous halo games, but if I prove myself in the qualifying matches and am not rewarded justly then what’s the point?
343 is retarded. Just suck it up and hope they make proper adjustments to fix this game.
Supposedly, it’s also based off of the hidden CSR of the opponents that you killed, or that killed you.
So, if you have a high K/D but it was achieved mostly on lower CSR players, it won’t be of great benefit when placing. However, I don’t know this as fact. Just things I’ve heard speculated.

That makes sense and all but I don’t see that being the case. I killed the same opponents as those guys I mentioned earlier.

Agreed. I guess that’s all you can do, as they aren’t the best at their jobs.
