does anyone else feel this way? things like…

I mean I cant even be bothered loading Halo 4 up anymore because I know I’ll just get bullshd by host, or Infinity noobs will only vote for Infinity settings or I’ll be forced to play the same dull looking forge maps over and over again. Or f****s will use ordnances on me, or people will boost and work together in a free for all playlist or people wont play for the win and just go for kills to get their k/d’s up because apparently a high k/d is representative of skill since visible ranks were removed. Or…etc etc.

That’s quite some projection you’ve got going on there. You seem to be thinking up some huge doomsday prophecy and claiming its true.
Lets address this point by point.
Not everyone hates the Xbox one. The Internet over reacted and complained like they do for everything (Sony, apple, etc). The Xbox one will sell a lot of units regardless of what the Internet says.
Halo has been controlled by Microsoft from Day 1. They haven’t been -Yoink!- out Halo for more money. They’ve been very careful with their brand. If they weren’t, you’d see as much merchandise as you do for Angry Birds. THAT is -Yoink!- out.
Unless the next Halo is like CoD, I doubt anyone is making anyone do anything.
The community is small and hardly united because they’re toxic and do not treat each other with respect. Only the community can change that, not 343 or Microsoft or Master Chief or Halo 5.
Frank o Connor is right. YOU ARE A SUBSET. The Waypoint community or online community does not represent the majority or everyone who bought Halo games.
Seems like AGL is holding tournaments and -Yoink!- is getting the word out for e sports. Not that it matters anyway since e sports are in a decline.
The population is a big ? mark with no possible way to find out exactly why it is dwindling. It seems to have stabilized around where it is now. Even then, who cares because you can still play online.
Bungle releasing Destiny is not the be all, end all especially if it releases on the Playstation or ONLY the Playstation. There is still more than enough gamers on Xbox to play more than one game at a time. No one is going to abandon Xbox, halo and everything they have done on Xbox to buy a Playstation and destiny. If anything they can buy destiny and Halo 5.
I think you need to settle down and relax with the doomsday prophecies. Those are my thoughts.
EDIT: bungle releasing Destiny. Not halo. Typo.
