Like I will jump on from time to time for BtB or if a weekly I like the looks of, but well right now I play Halo for two things campaign and PvE and well there isn’t a PvE mode to keep my attention.
Yep,
I have no reason to play infinite when I can play any other game right now that is a full complete game and have a much better time playing whatever game. I can’t stand how infinite feels like a cheap knockoff of Halo that is actually a half-backed beta that has major issues a year into it.
Forge world is the only hope if anything I have left that there might be at least 1 thing that I might get some enjoyment out of this mess.
There is vs bots mode. Where you and four people fight 4 marine level bots.
But no, I enjoy BtB mode personally.
Kinda’ yeah. Bored with ranked and well, honestly, just bored in general.
Yes and desync fix.
We can just keep dreaming…
Yeah I’ve been playing other games, I play 5 matches of Multiplayer and I’ve just had enough
Yup, waiting for the game to be worth playing. Don’t even bother with the season pass.
With the sweatfest the game is right now due to social skill based matchmaking the only saving grace this game can have is a pve mode like firefight but given how long it takes 343 to doanything i dunno if i ll be young enough to play it till then.
remember forge isnt coming out with custom game browser that prob wont come out till late next year
I’ve been playing Halo since it came out on the Original Xbox and I absolutely love the series. But Halo Infinite is a huge let down all together. In some ways I understand what happened with certain choices that where made while others it makes me wonder do the people in charge actually play the game they make. Like the franchise has so much to offer the world of gaming. But not giving the people something different outside of Arena Multiplayer is what’s killing this game for most people.
Arena multiplayer experience is fun and all for competitive gameplay but its not what people care for overall. Just because Halo has always been Arena multiplayer doesn’t mean it can’t grow outside of that experience. Yeah 343 tried with failing attempt to release something similar to other games with Halo 4 but the gameplay experience was still the same as every other Halo game where human weapons are dominant over everything else. Then forcing people to play that style of gameplay isn’t the way to do things. But gradually with two different types of modes would’ve been amazing.
But anyways back to main topic. To answer your question yes I’m waiting for Forge to release and hopefully 343 fixes and adds more options to custom games so the community can actually start having fun in this game.
As for PvE I don’t really care for because its nothing exciting about it. Playing against enemies you know you can win against in matchmaking or custom games is just boring. That’s literally the same repeat
we keep getting instead of some new amazing multiplayer campaign experience.
Personally I feel like if 343 or some other company released a new multiplayer experience mode that’s not arena multiplayer and its base off the Halo Lore more and you can play as a little bit everything across the universe. Which would be amazing but who knows maybe we can do all that and more once Forge releases later this year.
Forge isn’t releasing with custom games browser? Is that confirmed? If it doesn’t have robust fileshare, file browser and custom game browser that’s going to severely hold it back…
yes they confirmed that they barely even started working on it
I’m waiting for Co-op Campaign a later on Forge
I think I’m getting there. PvP has never been where I’ve spent or enjoyed the majority of my time playing Halo. I’m an average to sorta bad player depending on the match and I just don’t get much out of it except frustration. I’ve played way more PvP in Infinite than I have in any game since Reach to try to keep up with the BP’s and snag weekly Ultimates that I think are too cool to pass up, but it’s getting pretty exhausting.
It’s been said a thousand times and argued with as many, but I feel like pretty much every PvP match in this game feels like a sweatfest. Don’t know what exactly to chalk that up to, whether it’s overzealous SBMM or just that I suck, or some combination
But the bottom line is, it isn’t much fun for a player like me and the enticement of cosmetics from weekly ultimates is becoming less and less worth grinding through hours of un-fun gameplay for.
When more PvE comes, I’ll be excited to dive back in. I just hope that they offer ways for players who prefer to play that way to achieve the weekly ultimate rewards and advance in their BP’s. I can understand an argument for PvE being easier than PvP, so maybe that means a handful more PvE challenges in a weekly deck and less per-match advancement in the battle and event passes, which would be a fair trade-off IMO. I just don’t really want to feel like I’ve got to play PvP to keep up to date on the latest stuff with my favorite game.
What I am waiting for is for them to
- release DLC for the campaign witch seems to be taking them forever
- add firefight
- add classic weapons from Halo CE with there ammo and damage intact
- some old vehicles like the Hornet and Revenant those are 2 of my favorite vehicles but there are more then those 2 they should bring back
That or literally anything new gameplay-wise. Weapons, equipment, vehicles, game modes (infection?), etc.
I think leading season 2 with LSS was a huge mistake, most people want to play together with their friends not FFA game modes.
