Kind of a bit upset locke’s armor is a pre-order exclusive. I thought it was such a unique armor, something they could have made players really work for. Hopefully there will be another armor to full the gap.

I’m sure you will be able to buy it in-game via microtransaction. Good ol’ Microsoft has you covered.
As long Oma’s it isn’t as ridiculous as halo 4 and the massive amounts of variations they had as preorder exclusives I’m fine with it.
I’m here with you on that all the way. I simply don’t like ANY in-game exclusives, period. Things in games should be earned in the game, not bought outside of it.
Can’t say for certain but it’s possible that it could be unlockable and pre-ordering it give you early access. I’m not a fan of pre-order bonuses but it is what it is and I cash in on em when I can.
Maybe the Master Chief’s armor is the armor that players will have to really work towards? 
Keep in mind that it’s called the “Spartan Locke” set, not Hunter like the armor is actually called. It could be like Halo 4 where Chief’s armor was campaign only but, Mk VI still appeared in a different variant for multiplayer. We could be getting both the Hunter variant and a special armor based on Agent Locke’s armor.

Still content cutting in order to satisfy companies rather than consumers, no matter how small it may be in the grand scheme of things.

I bet its just an early access to it… But I do wish they would have left it as a “Finish the campaign on Legendary” unlock. they could’ve done some other kind of armor for this pre order bonus… oh well.

Same here, although that armor was a pain to unlock.
I’m upset because it is ugly.
I hate/expect these shenanigans. At least this time it’s for a set of armor I would never wear anyway.
I am sorry but this pre-order crap is rediculous
We have already seen how badly pre-order culture has influenced the gaming industry especialy within the past 2 years:
-Day one DLC
-Broken games on release (i.e Battlefield 4, The Master Chief Collection)
-Cut content to be sold later (Destiny)
- False Advertisement (Destiny, Watch Dogs)
The problem with pre-ordering is that you are throwing money at an incomplete project and because of that, the publishers don’t feel the need to release a quality product because they have your money anyway.
And now Microsoft is taking something that for all intensive purpouses should be at least an unlockable in the Base game and holding it behind a Pre-order incentive. And knowing 343’s past with things like FOTUS and the Arctic Battle Rifle that were Pre-Order incentives they wont be releasing it to anyone who does not pre-order which is rediculous.
I realy want to support the game, because contrary to popular oppinion I thing 343 is a decent developer but sice they are doing this, I will probably buy my coppy with Locke Armor code from EBay.

You do have those in the MCC though.

By not having people have to unlock it by playing, gameplay is being affected
