I’m tired of seeing people abuse this glitch. I just lost a match that the defending team should have won because the blues captured the armory in the last 2 minutes and force us to spawn far away. For me its gotten to the point where if I see anyone do it I go to theater after the match find them and report for cheating as well as save a clip of it for proof… Anyone else tired of this as well.
Now before any of you say its not cheating the definition of cheating is “to act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, especially in a game or examination”. Capturing the armory early is an act of cheating because it gives the blue team several advantages.
They have one less base they have to fight over.
It resets the timer to six minutes for capturing the primary objective.
It forces the reds to spawn at a distance where it is feasibly impossible to make it back to the primary objective in time to defend it.

It is indeed incredibly irritating.
Whoever found it probs told a few people…then they started ruining Warzone-A.
I’d love if 343 fix this.
Oh I didn’t realize this was happening as a big glitch. This happened to me in a game and they captured the spire the last 10 seconds because of that and we ended up losing. Haven’t played warzone assault since then.

I have never done it because warzone is trash. Just like your skill level in this game that you can’t stop it or go get the Amory back in your control. It IS cheating. You aren’t meant to be able to cap armory until Spire is capped.
You can’t get the armory back in control…this is warzone ASSAULT.
Once it’s gone…it’s gone.

I could tell you were confused :P.
In assault if you’re the attacking team on the Spire map…you’re meant to take spire… then armory…then home base. Same on everymap. But on the spire map…you can take armory before you’re meant to…there’s an area of the base you can stand in when the shield doors are meant to stop you getting in. So it can be claimed early…wrecks the game too. Makes people spawn at home base when trying to defend spire…Then after spire falls it tells you to defend home base…which is already lost.

I hadn’t realised it was happening, because warzone is just a kick-about for me. I could have quite easily done this thing without realising, just out of trying to capture a territory. I don’t believe I should be reported for it! It’s up to the developers to combat instances of unfair advantage, which is all this is!

Yes i do actually. I saw a post by 343 somewhere stating that its not a glitch and the players need to defend their bases better. I dont know if that opinion has changed but thats what was stated initially. I wish i had a source for you guys.

It is cheating if it goes against what the game intended. And they did not intend for you to be able to capture the second base prior to the first.

That’s strange because I’ve read they were aware of the issue but weren’t able to fix it in time for the update that has just come out. But again, I don’t have a source either. I think it was on somebodies twitter account…

Not since 343 boosted the rate of leveling up. In the past they would be assaulting it at level 2 but in my last match the blues were already at level four or higher by the time they made it there which gives them access to the fuel rod and tanks which absolutely destroys the core and my red team didn’t have the equipment to rapidly kill them before they can fire off the weapons.
While the glitch is incredibly irritating, you can’t blame the playerbase for doing something they’ve been given the ability to do. This isn’t cheating, but rather abusing a bug that 343i seems to have overlooked; I don’t see it as something ban-worthy at all. Instead of unnecessarily reporting people, report the glitch to 343i so that you can actually help get it fixed.
I agree that this is cheating. For those who don’t know, if you try to do this glitch without having the marines kill themselves, by shooting the red barriers and having their bullets ricochet back into them, and go straight for the top of the armory, the game tells you that the armory is in lockdown and that you have to capture the current objective. Therefore, you would be performing an act against the rules that are even stated in the game itself.
Defenders certainly don’t have it easy anymore. They quickened the time it takes to capture a base, people can use an angle between the walls and doorway from far outside the base to shoot the core, and now the armory glitch is becoming popular.
