What is this, they make little sense. All the visors are either little slits, tiny dots, or weird shapes. What about situational awareness? They all look like some kind of robot from a japanese mecha anime.

I can’t tell if you’re joking. How is it a nose hole no one’s nose is going through it? Why is there a forehead viewport if no one has eyes there?

I always thought they did, wait are these preorder only helmets?

Only the Locus Helmet is.
Edit: Actually I just checked the Bulletin and I think the Locus Helmet Bonus is just the skin for the helmet.

That one is quite badass, I don’t see the point of visors though when they have visorless helmets
You must be the ONLY one in the whole world who thinks this. I mean, it’s not like we get 3+ threads a day saying this or anything. Even if we did, they must be lying.
YOU MUST be the ONLY ONE IN THE WHOLE -Yoinking!- WORLD!!!

Pre-orders are just skins.
But things ranging from the goatee doohickey on the Reach EVA helmet, the shoulder armors that don’t protect your shoulder, the Commando shoulders which would only hinder arm movement significantly, using ODST armor when it isn’t half as protective as MJOLNIR, and so on. Little things. What I figure with some of the armor we’ve seen so far is reference to other games (Venator=Dead Space, CIO=Splinter Cell), and if that’s wrong and they designed these without inspiration your point is perfectly valid in anything apart from pure aesthetics, which is the point of armor permutations in Halo.
I will probably just stay default until I can get the mark 6 armor which I hope I can get it, if not I guess I don’t care since I can’t see it anyway. Now that I think about it they do look like gundams don’t they.

Hopefully they’ll look better in game, or there will be a lot more options to choose from because I agree lol. I feel like I’m looking at power rangers or something.
