Reading comments on this forum can be quite depressing at times.
just wanted to say I haven’t had this much fun since Halo 3. Really having a laugh playing game. May be bugs and flickering screens, sound issues and other improvements, but simply am finding this game good fun
It’s a ton of fun - but naturally when everyone gets their hands on a much anticipated flight we are going to notice and mention the bugs and things we don’t like to 1) see if others are experiencing the same and 2) get other players’ thoughts on the matter, it’s all part of the feedback process

I enjoy Halo 1-3 and reach and Im having fun. Having gon through multiple forums (reddit, resetera, twitter etc) the overal opinion is still people are having fun.
I was having fun in the first flight. Not so much in this one. The aim assist doesn’t feel like it’s doing anything on gamepad, and I’m certain the AR has been given way more recoil.
To be honest, the more I play and the more I get known of what 343 is doing with that like with in-game store, battle pass, no progression for an rank etc I’m more and more happy that at least the new BF is coming. Like I will test infinite but I will not purchase it in the next 1-2 years or pre order it. There is too much wrong with halo these days

As someone who’s played every Halo multiplayer and hates playing PvP game modes, I can honestly say I’m having a ton of fun. Idk what’s ruining it for you, but I know I and many others are having a butt load of fun.

Does the sidekick seem a little different to you? May have to do with adjustments to aim assist, but I’ve noticed I’m having a harder time aiming with the sidekick, and a much easier time with the sniper rifle / skewer since playing the first flight.
I’m mixed about this multiplayer. Been playing Halo at a highly competitive level since CE and I can honestly say, this may be the least engaging one so far. That says a lot for me, since I hated Reach and 4.
On these maps, I can already see the camp spots that are just going to be brutal against a 4 man team playing against random team. Also, when looking at the end stats, seeing the highest headshot kill total average around 5, is saddening to me. Why use anything but the AR right now?
I’ll still continue the testing, but I’m pessimistic about the maps and gunplay.
Bazaar is an awful map, thought I would share that.
Man I’m totally with you, I’m having a blast. The core gameplay loop is really great to me, the sandbox feels fun for the first time in years. I was never a huge fan of really any of the new weapons in 4 and 5. I also loved Halo 3 too, which I guess according to some jabroni in here is impossible lmao. People really want to make everyone else miserable for enjoying something they don’t like. What a way to live.

I agree with you completely and I also hated h4 and reach. There’s something fundamentally unfun about the gunplay. Bazaar plays horribly against a sweaty team, you stand each side of the map and take shots.
This just feels like it will entertain for a very short while and be lost as people move on.
