For as long as I’ve been playing Halo I’ve been pretty bad with the sniper, and I’m even worse with the rocket launcher.
Now in Halo 4 with all these new weapons like the rail gun, incin cannon, binary rifle etc I am next to useless with them.
But! I’m pretty decent with a DMR/BR in my hands, I rarely run into someone I can’t out-strafe 1v1. So, tragically I am terrible with all the “noob” weapons that should be padding my K/D ratio, and I make up for it my out-classing 99% of players with the standard loadout weapons.
Anyone else have this terrible affliction, and know too well the pain of feeling you could be semi-pro at this F-ing game if you could just use the “easy” weapons?

I have good sniping days, where I hit almost everything and I have those other days where I can’t even aim for afk players.
I’m terrible with the rocket launcher. It happens so often that I blow myself up. Also it feels like everytime I have rocks, I’m at the low ground and just shoot above the enemies heads.
It’s even worse with inci. Canon.
Binary rifle… I don’t know…everyone can see u when in-scoped. This stresses me that I can’t really concentrate on aiming. Also snaps are next to impossible
I’d rather have human or covie snipes even with two body shots.
With the railgun I’m pretty decent though. Mostly because of the absurdly bullet magnetism i guess.
So in general I can say that whenever I get power weapons, I’m sometimes too nervous to use them properly. I’m like u somehow

My sons are terrific with stuff like that! My oldest boy no-scopes as if the sniper never had a scope.
I’m absolutely garbage with the sniper or the rail gun. But not the worst with the rest.
I think I am king of having a teammate step in front of me RIGHT as i fire some sort of explosive ordinance in games without friendly fire.
Rocket launcher/incineration cannon - 10x easier with a jetpack.
My tragic skill seem to be losing the aim at the last .1S of a charged weapon (plasma pistol, boltshot, railgun, spartan laser) or managing to scope between shots with a shotgun/scattershot.
The AR doesn’t want to be my friend as if I’m cursed when using it.
This thread actually made me laugh out loud b/c I can SOOOO relate.
I’m an above average player overall I’d say. With the LR / Carbine / BR / DMR I feel I’m even competitive with the GOOD players.
With any POWER weapon I’m abysmal. I mean, I’m VERY bad with rockets. Negligently bad. I’m pretty sure my teammates likely think I’m ‘screwing around’ when I’m in try hard mode with them as I get zero kills.
With sniper I have my moments… but leave a lot to be desired.
I am a support teammate that will defend power weapons without picking them up (literally 90% of the time) to ensure they get in my teammates hands. I would say because of that I’m technically worth more than my K/D & CSR stats as I don’t get to ‘stat pad’ because of my lack of competence with power weapons.
My team will win and I might have a lower score than my teammate who picked up the power weapons I covered, but -Yoink!- we won (:
I could never shoot the spartan laser right and always had issues to focus on the game.
Then I figured I played all my video games all this years with the wrong layout lol
I should have played lefty mode.
However now I play southpaw button layout cause I would need the A,B,Y and X button on the left side to play southpaw sticks right.
I don´t know what you could do, try something you would never think of maybe your lucky like me 
Knowing this I can finally read my own handwriting thanks to Halo

maybe that can also help me, my 4 shot is pretty bad and my strafing is also bad
