Is anyone else like me only playing Halo 4 for spartan ops , as soon as I complete the newest chapter I leave Halo 4 for another week . I in no way intend to offend 343 here but I just can’t stand the online for this game in the current state it is in . It’s just no fun for me with the lack of playlists , unbalancing etc . So my question is is anyone else like me only playing spartan ops?
Pretty much yeah, I come online do the weekly Challenges and the new Chapter and that’s it.
And still on my main after 66 challenges no The Challenger, it’s stupid.
I played Spops until I reached SR 30. Then I moved onto MM so I can get better armor, visors, etc

I’m glad I not alone , I really hope the TU fixes this game it’s just so unbalanced and unexciting for me I guess other people feel the same too . Glad I’m not alone
Pretty much. May catch a few games here and there. I avoid mm, and mainly wait for Spops.
I play a fair amount of Spartan Ops since I am going for the Vanguard armor. I have completed the Covenant side, now I’m working on the Prometheans.
I do play a good amount of MM, too, but I like to just relax and listen to some music while I blast some aliens away like the good ol’ FF days.
Yeah, I mainly play Spartan Ops. I occasionally jump into MM, but it’s rare.

Nothing wrong with that.
Some played Halo 4 for the campaign. Others play for Spartan Ops also.
It is all good.
Enjoy the game on your terms. That is what I do.
I don’t have too much time to play. So I play a Spartan Op mission, and a couple of BTB games then go to sleep.

I don;t get on with War Games type multi player at all.
Spartan Ops has been a terrific addition in that regard. I have got to SR48 largely as a result of SO gameplay.
I play each week up until completing the weekly challenges or moving my SR along to a reasonable degree.
Some of the individual chapters have been worth repeated plays.
I would have just been playing the Campaign without Spartan Ops.

I hope you’re kidding. Because that is a very ignorant comment.
Just because people play SpOps does not mean they are any less able than those of War Games. It’s a means to wind down and relax. Also, people are sticking with it due to their displeasure to the current state of War Games.
That is the common refrain from those that consider themselves pros, I am afraid.
This casual vs. competitive BS is tired.
I played Spartan Ops a ton to get the specializations and armor.
Now that I am at 130, I play BTB more for the enjoyment, and I hold my own.
I find it ironic that Exia said that and has DMR and BS mastered, using those two weapons alone can get you some nice amount of kills… “least when used right”.
I to find myself leaving and coming back every now again, but not just SPOPS, finish some commendations, granted SPOPS is a good part of my reasoning for coming back since I am 130 and can no lnger can xp.

I mastered these weapons to get them out of the way. It’s better to master them before the TU comes along. Right now I’ve been going for UNSC Loadout Mastery and am well on track.
Generally speaking the people who spend a lot of time in SO suck at multiplayer, or at least in my experience. It’s not flaming just simple reasoning.
I’ve gotten almost all of the Covenant commendations. I got Hunters, Jackal Majors, and Zealots yesterday.
Now I just need to kill about 100 more Grunt Ultras. The Target locator trick in Reach was more fun than trying to boost Grunts in SpOps, it just takes so long.

I enjoy Spartan Ops. Much more XP, means getting through the ranks faster. I don’t play very often, so for the much greater XP rate with Spartan Ops, just means I’ll play that more to get everything done specialization wise faster. I hate slow grinds.
Anything else just doesn’t matter as I play to have fun, not stress over K/D, or anything else that is just overall meaningless in life. a super high K/D won’t get you coffee at Starbucks. That’s how I see it.
Play to have fun and relax. I have enough stress in my life to let a video game cause me more because my K/D dropped by 0.01%
I’ve never liked Halo multiplayer much, aside from Reach.
Spartan Ops is the only thing left for me to care about. Campaign stars Chief, so my personal Spartan isn’t there. (Not to mention I don’t care about Chief and Cortana since Halo 3.)
Even if there it’s a bit repetitive and a bit of a grind. I get to have my Spartan there, killin’ dudes, havin’ fun. Playin’ with friends and their spartans. Goofing around. Havin’ fun.
I’ll probably only play Spartan Ops for get XP with Fast Track at this point with the story being over.
I love Spartan Ops! I don’t love it enough that I only play that instead of MM, but it is a lot of fun! I really hope there’s a Season 2!
I play both, I enjoy both. Simple as that.
