Anyone else noticing

Anyone else noticing when your playing teams of 4, you’re getting stuck with someone who doesn’t kill?

Like right now, we have 8 and 5 and 10 kills each and there’s always one guy on our team who goes 0-8 or something and then leaves???

I had a teammate go 1-17 in a slayer match yesterday, but no, I’m not seeing a trend.

Kk just thought it was really weird, it’s been happening just about every game to me.

Pray you don’t get me on your squad lol

I doubt there’s any conspiracy behind it, but this has also been happening to me. If I had to take a guess, it’s because the population is so low now that they can’t match people based on skill in every game anymore.

I only really notice it when they go AFK for entire matches, probably to avoid the leaver penalty to keep them from just quitting out right. I forget if this game has a kick function on AFK players if they stay idle for too long.

It’s about as bad as I get in other games.

Probably cause they live on the other side of the world and the game they’re playing is happening three days later!

It does. I think around 2 minutes of idle time.

Sometimes I get a good match where everyone pulls their weight, sometimes I get someone who’s just utterly inept. I like to think it’s just matchmaking being the wonk and throwing a newbie in but man, it kinda stinks when someone is just obviously struggling with the game and you can’t do anything about it other than to hope the next is better.

But remember, we asked for no SBMM Socials, so this is exactly what no SBMM Socials will look like.

Also, remember how our internal player skill is being tracked: Through kills across all game modes. If you so happen to be performing extremely well in Bot Arena, you will be thrown together with actually skilled players for MM.

one of the pro’s stated: the better you play the more you have to carry the team. its how the “trueskill2” matchmaking system works

When I was playing the other day, I ran into two people who I was on a team with the matches before in the Tactical event playlist and I think the Fiesta or Quick Play playlists.

Same, but sometimes I end up looking at the scoreboard and seeing no one else is doing well on my team.

I don’t understand this.
I often put some effort into matches, and I’ve been in quite a few matches where I ended up carrying my team, but if it does work like that, has anyone explained why it works like that?

I’ve been kicked several times when I had to leave and didn’t know how long I’d be away, and every time, it gave me a message about it (I can’t remember what it was, but it was something like “Wake me when you need me”), but I don’t know how long it took before it kicked me.

This happen alot, if you are 3 team mates you will most likely have a bad player on the team.
And its also hard to play a team based game on your own.

And most of the time its only good connection for 2 players.

Something I’ve seen a lot of is that when I play any playlist, my team ends up often having one or two really good players (very positive K/D), one or two good players (slightly negative or positive K/D), and an okay or bad player (negative or very negative K/D).
I usually end up being any of those.
I’ve noticed the same thing often happens for the other team too.

its how the “trueskill2” balances the match via players MMR, like in social an onyx would have a gold and two silvers on their team while going up against a diamond a plat and two golds

That seems balanced yet unbalanced…
