So, after playing for a while I’ve noticed that a lot (not all, but perhaps 2/3) of the games I play seem to go like this. Team A is absolutely dominate for the first part of the match. Wins most of their firefights, has a significant lead, seems like that can’t lose. Then, all of a sudden, Team B rebounds and can’t be stopped. There are A LOT of reasons this could happen. Shifts in tactics, players actually deciding to play the objectives, whatever. But, for some reason it doesn’t seem to be organic to me. Having been on both sides of this, losing at the start and achieving a come from behind victory, and dominating to begin with only to be destroyed in the later part of the match, I know that my personal tactics don’t usually change that much. It seems like if my team is dominating I can’t lose. I’ll win almost any battle 1v1 and can often achieve double kills with little effort in a 1v2 situation. However, if my team is the non dominate, I can’t seem to kill anyone. As if my gun is firing rubber bullets. Anyone else noticing this or am I just a crazy person…or maybe both?
You’re implying a conspiracy.
Not exactly. Maybe a bug in some net code, or a desync issue if anything. It’s just something that I’ve noticed and was wondering if anyone else had.
I don’t think there’s anything going on. Part of it is probably psychological. How you’re feeling absolutely is going to impact performance. How much will vary from person to person, and the intensity of your emotions. I’d not read too much into it and just try and have fun. That’s what matters most imo.
You ending up with a lot of “343 employees” on your team or the opposing team in those situations?
I have found if they start popping in a lot, the gameflow changes.
I don’t think so. I’ve never played against any 343 employees that I know of. I don’t usually pay attention to the names of people on the other team though.
The ‘343’ in someone’s name means they’re a bot, not an employee
I’ve actually noticed this too funny enough, I don’t think that theres anything going on behind the scenes but it definitely is prevalent in Infinite more than it has been in any other halo.
i put it down to the crappy catch up mechinacs in this game, multiple wasps spawn on their side, wraiths, scorpions and more heavy weapons drops
its basically trying to make the ones losing feel like they are winning but because of the catch up stuff they do end up winning
